This place saved us from trying to eat in the industrial wasteland called Harwich. It featured locally sourced, fresh menu items with plenty of vegan options. The owners were very sweet and helpful and the décor was a cute, eclectic, comfortable, but upscale local bistro. We had the samphire appetizer which was phenomenal! Apparently it’s a seasonal salt water plant that’s native to the eastern coast of England. We then had some sort of fresh artichoke plate with wild mushroom couscous(I think, or was it quinoa) as well as the curry. The main dishes were good, but the vegan ice cream and berry cobbler was the kicker! I would highly recommend anyone near the Colchester/Harwich area make the worthwhile trip down to Woodbridge to check this place out.
