This place alone is well worth a visit to Princetown for. There’s the usual tourist information service, but here there’s also a very interesting exhibition about Dartmoor. There’s wall displays, films playing and an interactive Hound of the Baskerville’s feature, complete with Sherlock Holmes study. The gift shop is pricey (£12.50) for a mug, but browsing is free and cheaper souvenirs can be bought elsewhere.
