To me, this place was awesome, the perfect traditional West Country pub. I was with a party of 5 and every meal was perfectly sized, fresh and tasty. The staff were professional and friendly. After a nice walk on Dartmoor, this pub is a perfect lunch or dinner with a nice English pint :)
I would definitely come back !

We stopped into the Royal Oak Inn during our ramble over Dartmoor. What a cozy inn — and very friendly. We didn’t eat there but my husband has a good pint of Dartmoor Bitter and I had a bitter shandy for fortify us on our ramble.
Lovely little green outside the pub — definitely want to go back for some food. The menu looked very good.
