Very good food. Being a diabetic there are lots of choices. I always get brown rice, grilled chicken and low sodium teriyaki sauce with steamed veggies. Owner is always friendly and nice. Restaurant is clean and its never packed inside.

Well im new here, and wanted some good old asian food. Looked up on google maps to see what was good. Decided on a place. Got here n walked in. Instantly greeted by the gentleman up front. Ordered our food and waited for about 5 – 7 mins. The place was tidy and bigger than what i thought. When the food came out it smelled so good! Took one bite of the teryiyaki pork and omg delish! And the best thing is its right beside my house!

we used to come here for lunch take out. we would order over the phone and pick up. when we arrive, the lady at the counter would look at us(my co worker and I are both Asians) with a smirk and judgmental look, and she would talk like she’s irritated or inconvenienced by us. Makes me very uncomfortable, so much that I sometimes just stay in the car and have my friend go inside to pick up. Anyway we stopped coming here, I don’t think the teriyaki is That good to take her«I’m better than you» LOOK.

This used to be my very favorite teriyaki place. I don’t know what’s changed in the last few years but it has really gone downhill. Service is awful, and workers are terribly rude. We just tried getting take out to avoid the bad service, rude staff and dirty atmosphere but got home after a 15 minute drive to realize they had packed our salad in with our teriyaki so the salad was wilted and warm and the food tasted old and stale. Just terrible. Will not be back.

That was the most tender Mongolian beef I have every had, delicious. I also appreciated that my teriyaki chicken wasn’t dried out, which happens all too often in my opinion. I will be back!

Very good food but the workers are not very nice and very rude you ask for something and it’s like you are asking for the world

Upon arrival the guy at the Counter seemed pissed off and inconvenienced to help me with my order. «we have no white rice». The yakisoba was flavorless and very dry. I wasn’t impressed with it. My girlfriend had the teriyaki and they put her salad in the same box as her hot food so it ruined the salad. I probably won’t be back soon The bathroom doors are disgusting and there is no TP

We are visiting from Alabama and this place was close to our hotel. Food was delicious and cheap and we loved it! Chicken teriyaki and general Tso’s combo. Get it when you come.

The people who run Sunny Teriyaki are one of the reasons I like coming here, they are all business and very little nonsense. They used to have a small sign by the napkin dispenser that said«napkin=tree», and another small sign by the soda dispenser that reminds you to pay for refills. The other reason to come here is because they have the best combos of teriyaki and Chinese food entrees. The General Tso’s is good, veg yakisoba is good, fried rice portion is huge, etc. No negatives, all positives, and it’s my favorite in Auburn by far.

I stopped in to Sunny Teriyaki in between clients a few weeks ago for lunch. The food was only ok. The beef was way overdone but the chicken was really good. I would go back for a second try!

Hit or miss. Most of the time it’s very good and filling teriyaki. I always get the spicy chicken and gyoza and the yakisoba. I’m rarely disappointed. Prices are a little higher than some other teriyaki places around and teryaki2u delivers.

This place is definitely not the best teriyaki place around. The food is not bad, it’s very basic and meets most of the standards that a teriyaki restaurant should meet. The only problem is the place is filthy(or at least has been the few times I’ve been in) and the woman behind the counter is not very polite. She is either on her phone or she seems like she is in a rush and doesn’t have time to listen to what you have to say. Just order, pay, and leave her alone is pretty much her vibe. I’ve been to a number of teriyaki places and typically do reviews on them. This spot is definitely a no-go for me for dining in. I would definitely recommend ordering take out over dining in, but this is not my first choice teriyaki place.

The hot and spicy teriyaki dish has just the right amount of spicy-ness, sweetness, and goodness to earn a four star rating from me. How teriyaki should be done.

This is my 2nd& last visit here. First visit wasn’t bad, food was decent, service was ok. Thought we’d give it another try but as soon as we walked up it seemed as if we were inconveniencing her, she apparently didn’t listen as we told her we wanted to eat IN. While on her cell she came over to our table to ask IN or To go… Apparently all I bought was rice, not much veggies or even chicken. Next time I’ll save my 9.00 for something that’s worth it. Pretty sad when your getting a bad review from another Asian. Isn’t this supposed to be good Asian food? Well coming from this Asian — It’s not!

First time here tonight, ordered some yakisoba, szcetuan chicken, and some egg rolls for me and my husband. And it was all delicious! The szcetuan chicken was just spicy enough and the yakisoba had really good Chinese spices on it that really added a good flavor. And for ordering to-go, it was super quick and they were really friendly. Definitely will come back

We had the #1 dinner for $ 27. We figured on taking a lot home. This included sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef and teriyaki chicken. It included soup and rice and Sunny talked us into pot stickers. I wouldn’t rate this 5 stars if it wasn’t scrumptious! My wife agreed!

I have lived in Auburn for many years and I used to REALLY like this place. The original owners that I used to see working here when it first opened were so warm and welcoming. It is sad to say that today is probably the last time I will spend my money here. The cashier acted annoyed to be taken away from reading her newspaper. Today, an early Saturday afternoon, my wife and I went in for lunch and were the only ones inside. As we were ordering our lunch(yakisoba, spicy chicken and eggrolls) we watched the cook toss 2 precooked pieces of grilled chicken breast on the grill. The chicken was butterflied with grill marks so was clearly pre-cooked. For me this falls into the«not as fresh as I like my food to be» column but I did not let it stop us from having lunch. The egg rolls were not good at all. They were served hot BUT they were fried in what tasted like old old old oil and the pork inside tasted«off». I brought the egg rolls back to the counter(only 2 bites gone — one from each) but the woman did not offer to refund my $$ nor did she acknowledge what I was explaining to her. In the end their bus tub, on a cart in the dining area, smelled really bad. Our bill was 20 bucks and considering the chicken was precooked and our egg rolls were not edible, we won’t be back. I tend to believe that all the great reviews posted here must have been paid for because I can’t believe there are so many people in Auburn that L.O.V.E mediocrity this much.

This place was highly recommended by Unilocal!users so my wife and I decided to give it a try. The service was more an emphasis on take out than dining in. Fill your own drinks get your own silverware etc.(and bus your own table? Really?) I was not impressed by the general tso’s chicken or the orange chicken. The honey crispy shrimp was actually quite good. I didn’t care for the drug deals happening in plain sight of the back windows of the restaurant. For the price I have had much better food.

Probably my favorite teriyaki place in Auburn and there are ton of them. The place is quick, clean, friendly. I love to sit and enjoy a cup or 2 of their complimentary tea. My favorite meal is the chicken & Gyoza with salad meal sometimes its on lunch special for $ 6.49!!! Can’t go wrong with this one!
