Argenta Tower Retiro

So far this hotel has been a surprise for my family and I. We bought this packet in
and they got us here. This is our second day here. I really like this hotel, it is in a good location, in downtown Buenos Aires. Obelisk is just a few blocks away, same the pink house or «casa rosada» (the president public house), the congress, and many yummy restaurants. The people working here are super nice, great attention, they are very helpful with indications about where to go, what to do around here, etc. They clean your room everyday. The breakfast is included in the price of the room. It is a buffet, type american breakfast –7am to 11am. It is great the schedule given that usually the hotels offer bfast from 6am to 10am and you cannot sleep in.

I am torn. This is a great boutique hotel and it is the perfect location (Retiro near Recoleta).
Here’s my dilemma. Sharing my great find with Unilocalland could mean others will stay here which means higher prices and limited availability when I return. … You heard it right. WHEN I return. But, it really is an amazing hotel for its price point of approximately $ 120– $ 150 US dollars per night. So, I guess I can manage to get over my selfish needs and tell you about my stay here and all that Argenta has to offer.
Location
— one block from July 9^th Avenue — the largest street in Buenos Aires (once the largest street in the world until Brazil decided to up the antee)
— four blocks from The San Martin Plaza and Florida Street.
— Puerto Madero and Palermo are less than 10 minutes away by taxi or a nice 25 minute walk.
If you want to take the bus or subway, each are close options as well.
In addition to these landmarks, it is surrounded by banks, shopping, bakeries and restaurants all within a few steps from the hotel door.
Rooms
The rooms are very nice. Each room is equipped with a desk, full kitchen and dining table with chairs. The refrigerator has items for purchase but there is a also room for leftovers and cold beverages.
Wash cloths are not provided. Hand towels and Bath towels only. If you are not accustomed to bathing without them, bring your own.
The room has central air and heat but you are not able to use both at leisure. During fall, if the temperature is cool, only the heater works. On warmer days, no heater. So, those who use the AC year round, this may create a problem for you. The window provided great relief as we prefer a cool room at night.

Con mi novia fuimos a festejar un lindo fin de semana y la pasamos realmente muy bien. Llevamos una promoción de Groupon que incluía una noche más cena y desayuno. La verdad que nos sorprendimos porque no esperábamos demasiado y al final quedamos muy satisfechos. El hotel es muy bello, la atención muy buena, la comida riquísima y las habitaciones muy cómodas… Lástima que sólo estuvimos una noche porque nos fuimos con ganas de pasar más tiempo en el hotel.
Disfrutamos de un dia de pileta hermoso, ademas se encuentra ubicado en uno de los barrios más distinguidos de la Capital Federal, a unas pocas cuadras del corazón de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, la calle Florida, el teatro Colón, el Obelisco, la Casa Rosada, Puerto Madero, Shoppings y mucho más.
Reomendable y el precio en promocion excelente!
