After reading the first 2 reviews, I stopped by for a cup of coffee and a cookie. What a lovely space. They speak English and are very friendly. One can have a glass of wine or beer too if they feel like it. Highly recommended.

Much like the previous reviewer, I too just happened to be walking by. I had walked by this café several times before without feeling inclined to try it, but this time, I really needed a quick if albeit a late lunch, and they had just what I needed! The service was very fast. The lady in the café was actually having her own lunch, so when she noticed me struggling to order, she immediately hopped up, and recommended the wok and the lemon/ginger drink, also assuring me that it was made here in the café, very refreshing and organic. I was sold. I finished every last grain of the wok and the lemon ginger was just perfect! They have been very kind, helpful and welcoming. So thank you again. I will return!

Today I stopped by Café Kali by chance, and they told me they have just opened their café. Lucky me, I was in for a treat. Their cakes were homemade as well as their cookies. Had some ‘pastafrola’ which is a traditional Argentinian cake inspired in an Italian cake I can’t remember the name of. But was really good. I also had a couple of cookies, which were delicious. I had it with some café con leche(a latte, or more like an american cappuccino), which was strong, rich and much needed. I also saw they had a few nice choices for breakfast, like granola, smoothies, toasts, and yes, cakes, plus fresh food for lunch, like salads and cleverly put together sandwiches. It’s located in a really nice area of Buenos Aires, in Barrio Norte, close to Santa Fe avenue, but tucked away a bit, ideal for a peaceful mid morning treat. I’m looking forward to my next visit, and I wish them all the luck!
