Experiencia Nirvana Spa

Simply cannot recommend this place to anyone. Our nearby hotel enthusiastically recommended it to us on our honeymoon, and the website is great. Unfortunately the website is nothing like the actual spa.
We made an appointment for the 2-​hour couples massage at 6pm and had a very non-​premium experience. Customers were packed on tables which were too close together, like sardines, causing nearby tables to get bumped around as the masseuse tried to circle around.
The staff wasn’t very friendly… no single point of contact and various staff members performed various tasks, when things got done.
No credit cards accepted. No changing space or storage for your stuff. Practically no attention to the legs as a previous poster has mentioned. No exfoliation of the back, only the front; massage only of the back, not the front as sold.
Perhaps we are spoiled by US massage culture, entirely possible, but this experience was substandard and rushed. The water was cold to lukewarm. As they neared the 8pm spa closing time, the staff was more focused on cleaning up to go home, the heat was turned off, and the attention level dropped to virtually nothing.
This experience amounted to a 1-​hour treatment with 1 hour of waiting built in, charged as «2-​hours.»

My husband and I had the couple1 hour message. Clean and lovely environment and the massages were excellent. My husband and I left feeling completely stress free and rejuvenated. ;)

My girlfriend and I decided to get a massage while here in BA. My understanding is that spa culture is not very common in BA and except for a few places the majority of spas are in hotels which will cost you a good bit of coin. We saw Nirvana had a couple of good local reviews so we decided to check it out — we decided on the 2 hour package — which included a mix of Swedish, Deep Tissue, hot stone, and a chocolate and gold facial, and had the couples massage. I thought the masseuse did a good job, he focused on my knots and tight areas, however did not spend really any time on my legs which was disappointing since it was supposed to be full body. I had never done hot stones but I didn’t have the patience for it so they finished off with a massage instead of the stones.
The place itself is clean and very zen like, not the typical spa you would find in the US (it’s a small apartamento converted to a spa).
All in all id say it’s worth the price — but id recommend that you are prescriptive with what you want — they seem to be flexible.

Este lugar es un pequeño oasis escondido en medio de Palermo, que a simple vista pasa totalmente desapercibido. La puerta de acceso se encuentra separada de la vereda como hacia dentro y se termina perdiendo. Uno solo llega cuando viene ya con la información de otro lado. Pasé miles de veces caminando por al lado pero nunca me había percatado de este lugar hasta que una de mis amigas me lo comentó.
Tiene una muy agradable y cálida ambientación que hacen que uno ya se empiece a desestresar desde que ingresa. Los aromas que se mezclan en el aire también ayudan a crear un clima especial.
Ofrecen distintos tipos de «rituales» hay masajes individuales, para hacer con tu pareja o con amigas.
Para mi el mejor de todos es el masaje descontracturante con piedras calientes. Les admito que al principio el término «piedras calientes» genera un poco de miedo, lo primero que se te cruza por la cabeza es: me van a quemar toda la espalda. Pero les juro que no. Es una sensación muy agradable y súper relajante. Ayuda a aflojar todas las tensiones que acumulamos en el día a día. Así que les recomiendo que se animen a probar de esta experiencia, no se van arrepentir.

Experiencia Nirvana es un excelente spa urbano. Cuentan con varias opciones y tratamientos para elegir ir solo, en pareja o con amigas.
Los circuitos de spa varían en su duración de acuerdo a la opción que se haya elegido. Es más, hay hasta opciones con cena u hospedaje incluido!
Cuando fui por primera vez me llamó la atención encontrarme con un lugar así en el corazón de Palermo. No me lo imaginaba!
Tampoco me pareció caro para el servicio que elegí y el trato que recibí.
En caso de no estar seguro de que circuito de spa elegir, se puede llamar por teléfono o ingresar al sitio web para ver de qué se trata. Lo mejor? desde el sitio web también podes acceder a los precios y a los descuentos que ofrecen. Por ejemplo, algunos de los circuitos cuentan con una opción de 50% de descuento para tu acompañante, si vas de 14 a 21.
Personalmente, de ir sola volvería a elegir el Circuito Gourmet: son 2 horas de pura relajación!
Aunque, muero de ganas por poder elegir una de las opciones con alojamiento en el Hotel Boutique Palermo Soho incluido!
