Stellar restaurant in a quiet, non-touristy neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Off the bat, the décor is beyond charming, with the black and white tiled floor adorned with mismatched, vintage furnishings so typical of trendy Buenos Aires. Inside and outside seating, they even have music nights where diners are accompanied by piano or bandoneon. But the star, was the food. Beginning with a basket of delicious olive bread, we ordered a steak and seafood pasta. The steak was big, juicy, cooked to perfection, and served with roasted potatoes. The seafood pasta was the best I’ve had outside of the beaches of Italy — clear and light sauce with parsley and filled with frutti di mare. While Argentina is obviously known for their meats, it was this pasta I was most surprised about.
