This is my favorite restaurant in Puerto Iguazu. I’ve been coming here for years when visiting my parents, and I am always pleased with the food and the service. Unlike many restaurants on the Brazilian side of the border, the waiters here can communicate in English and Portuguese aside from their native Spanish. The service is impeccable, even with a full house. My favorite thing to eat there is the«bife de chorizo», a tall steak, with mashed potatoes and four cheese sauce. Yum! I really recommend visiting this place! 20USD for a Steak meal and a beer?! Not on the Brazilian side, that’s for sure!

One of our favorite restaurants that we ate at during a three week trip to Argentina. Definitely get a reservation ahead of time as this place is very popular. We were there on a friday night and ended up waiting about 35 minutes for a table for 2. I got the«Lomo a la Mostaza de Dijon con Papas Doree y Esparragos,» which came with a tangy mustard sauce and was cooked perfectly. My wife got the“Bife de Chorizo AQVA,” which came with an onion risotto and was also perfectly cooked. Desserts were fantastic, we had the White Chocolate Brownie and one of the most interesting desserts I’ve ever had: a Yerba Mate Crème Brulee. It came with Caramelized Yucca, Toasted Almonds & Yerba and Cointreau Foam. Really fantastic. Service was great. Nothing short of a five star dinner outing.

We came here on our second night in Iguazu as a recommendation from our guide for seafood and it was everything we have been hoping for in Argentinian cuisine! First of all, amazing service with(some) multi-lingual servers, second the bread basket was varied and all amazing(see pictures), the olive bread was my favorite while the man loved the wheat but truth be told we ate it all before our main courses came out. On a recommendation from our server we got the pacu stuffed fish dish and the steak chorizo with mushroom risotto and the seasonal salad. OMG. Both were amazing,(I paired dinner with a Malbec glass). Words cannot describe. We left so happy and satisfied! And the cost was only 41US dollars! Definitely come here if you are in Iquazu for a special treat!(Recommend reservations)

Great service and great food! After living in Buenos Aires for 9 weeks, I’ve learned the only real service you in most places is no service. We got seated fairly quickly without reservations. The staff took our orders fairly quickly. Food came out in a reasonable time and our whole experience with staff, atmosphere and food was great. The lomo and dorado were perfectly cooked and a perfect end to our long day of walking through the national park. The cost is very reasonable and if you’re traveling with other currency, the exchange rate is decent compared to what other places try to pull.

Let me begin by saying that yes this was a very nice restaurant. The ambience was really quite casual for the claims of the food being extraordinary. I will say that the local river fish was absolutely the best dish. We had read about the appetizers being wonderful and we wouldn’t quite agree. We thought that they were very average. Also, be sure that you have reservations because if you don’t, you’ll wait. It is worth the effort if you are going to Iguazu falls to stop and eat at this establishment.

Adorei o sabor dos pratos, aparência, ambiente e atendimento. Fomos muito bem tratados. Carne saborosa e macia.

Service was good but food was average at best… Started with soup of the day which turned out to be broccoli, not cream of or puréed in any way, just broccoli coarsely blended with some stock. The flavor wasn’t bad, the consistency left a lot to be desired. Had been hitting the red meat pretty consistently while in Argentina so decided to take a night off and try the local fish specialty– river fish with shrimp and potato risotto… The fish wasn’t evenly cooked — the thicker part of the fillet was pretty good, the ends were way over cooked. The potato risotto turned out to be a potato hash and needed salt, actually the entire meal needed salt. Overall would probably try another restaurant if I ever find myself back in Puerto iguazu

Sadly, I was not as impressed with Aqva as most other Unilocalers. We were starving, and excited for some Argentian cuisine on our first day in Iguazu! I ordered the Aqva steak and my dining partner ordered the El Dorado. He loved the fish, but I was unimpressed with the steak. I thought it was tough and overseasoned with oregano(could have been something else)? Prices were on the higher end, which is fine for a fancier meal, I just wish I would have been as impressed with the food as I wanted to be. On a happy note, service was very good and there is free Wifi.

The staff is friendly and the wifi is strong! We had empanadas and they were the best we’ve had so far. We also had a caprese salad which would have been improved with riper tomatoes(still good). The bathrooms are a bit sketchy, which is big for me. Everyone recommends this restaurant and we see why the cost is very reasonable ! Our entire meal was $ 15 dollars. They daily give free food to local Indian children who are poor

We had the Ribeye, Surubi(local white fish), Yucca Gnocchi and Salmon. Everything was delicious! The Mate Crème Brûlée is a must have! Though this is a small town close to the Iguazza Falls, almost every table was occupied.

Great local wines. We tried 2 Mendoza Malbec’s, which were great. Being a veggie, my salad and veggie(spinach) Gnochi was good. 3 teenagers had Fettuccine with different sauces, gave a 3.5 on it. Friend had Fish, said was a little cold but a 4. Overall, a fun place and good service. Desserts-Flan and Crêpe were decent but we were too full to rate it appropriately. Value: 4.5÷5.

Aqva was one of the nicest dining experiences on our trip. The service was great, and my wife, who is a vegetarian, especially liked it given that they had vegetarian options other than just pasta with sauce. My shrimp appetizer was wonderful, and the dorado fish special was good, but could’ve used more flavor.

No me gusto mucho.

No pedimos entrada.

It was 5:30 pm when we walked in and the restaurant was serving food which is an odd time for dinner, so I truly appreciated that they still gave us hungry tourists food. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, but given the time span in which we walked in, and the fact that everybody in this town speaks great English, «thank you» to all tourists for keeping this town alive and open and in business! This restaurant came highly recommended for its fish dishes from the river, but looking at area, it seems very much a common ingredient for most places around here. The fresh river fish. We had it with the fruit sauce and safe on rice and it was lovely but a little too dry. The beef chorizo was perfect. I asked for a we done and they served it perfectly without burning it to a crisp as they tend to do in most places. I think I am excited to try other dishes and restaurants here in Puerto iguazu . I am just a tad bit sorry we didn’t have space for dessert because we were stuffed after our meal and only had space for a small coffee each.

Excellent! Great service. We came into Iguazu because let’s face it — food at the Sheraton is not that great. This restaurant got great reviews so we took the local bus. Very welcoming. English menu. Local fish is fresh. Ordered the antipasti which was a good sampling of Argentinian dishes(not meat) Most important, we have a 9 year old who loved the large portion of grilled chicken(so did the adults). Wine list is extensive and very reasonable. Alcohol pours are generous. Our waitress even offered to check on pricing for a cab vs. bus — definitely a good stop.

We asked what was the best restaurant in town and everyone said it was Aqva. We were not disappointed. The Dorado(local fish) was fresh and excellent! Given the exchange rate for the USD, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Seriously, I did NOT expect to eat this well in Puerto Iguazu. We came to see the falls, and didn’t concern ourselves much about food. The first good sign was that the restaurant refused to seat our group of 11 for Sunday lunch, not because they didn’t have a table, but because they didn’t have enough staff on that afternoon to handle such a big group and not adversely affect their other customers. This was a refreshing sign that they cared about their food. So we made a reservation and came back for Monday dinner. Everything was exceptional. Our group of 11 ordered everything from steaks, to pasta to fish to lamb. All the dishes were deemed delicious. The desserts, if this is possible, we’re even better. The passion fruit mousse stood out as downright amazing, while the crepes and flan were also popular. An few salads, 11 entrees, 4 desserts, aqua and Pepsi for all for less than $ 200. For Puerto Iguazu, this will be on the mor expensive end, but it was well worth it!
