SUPERCHEAP&YUMMYCOFFEE!!! Happy hour coffee, available between eight and ten daily is only $ 2.00. A total bargain for a City coffee shop. My latte is always perfect. Outside of happu hour coffee is only $ 3.00(to $ 4.50 for grande) and there is a deal so you can get cake with your drink and it is only $ 6.00. There are SOMANY cakes(doughnuts, lamingtons, caramel slice, strudel, danish, beestings) to choose from and really cheap. I had tge doughnut stick, with cream and jam. To. Die. For. Hot food is tasty too. My fave is the steak and onion pie — So good. They also have lots of other pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and a load of vegetarian options which is awesome. Defs worth a look in if you are in the City and looking for a quick coffee or bite to eat. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The Happy-Hour Coffee(8−10am) was what got me there to begin with. They also provide an array of baked delights to whet your appetite — though I’m not a personal fan of sweet things first thing in the morning. The coffee’s not the best if you are a bit of a coffee snob like me, but if you are wanting a cheap coffee of decent size, then this is a good stop to by pass if you are near Rundle Place. Perhaps the staff are desperate for their own morning coffee as the feeling is that they don’t really ‘perk up’ when you are waiting or they are taking your order at the counter. Infact, perhaps your(my) presence has ruined their quiet start to the morning? Maybe my glasses are just as cool as hers and it ticked her off. Regardless of the mood, its supporting a small bakery, its not a long wait because not everyone gets down the bottom of Rundle Place when another place is easier, and its caffiene. If you want something yum on the side, its pretty good! But honestly, I’m a huge fan of my coffee being made with love and joy and a giant splash of skill and a sprinkle of handsome barista… which Rheinland hasn’t shown is in existence. Maybe next time I’ll shout them a coffee instead…

It’s nice to have somewhere new to cater for office morning/afternoon teas, as well as birthdays. Rheinland Bakery has a big selection of cakes and slice, as well as whole cakes and pies. If you call the day before and pre-order you can also get a discount, but even if you’ve only made your mind up on the day they are very reasonably priced and ended up cheaper than our usual morning teas(such as donuts and cupcakes).
