The Cupcake Queens

Mmmmmm cupcakes.
A venue selling cup cakes really can’t go wrong. The Cupcake Queens is a chain covering Armadale, Williamstown and Albert Park. A normal cup cake will set you back $ 3.50, $ 20 for 6 or $ 36 for a dozen.
Mini cup cakes are $ 2 each and are great to get boxed up for a kids birthday party. They look so pretty in their little pink box and with their perfect icing.
The moist cupcakes are available in all of the flavours from chocolate to vanilla and everything in between. There is even a gluten free vanilla cupcake available.
Humongous cupcakes are available for $ 70 if you pre order.
You can chow down on your cupcakes in the store but the ambiance doesn’t really invite you to do so. There is a lack of cosiness which is a shame.
Another disappointment is the opening hours. The store is closed on Mondays, and they shut up shop at 5pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends. There have been many times where a burger from Andrew’s for dinner would have been washed down so well with a cupcake but alas the Queen adjourns to her palace a little too early.
