Tasty house is where it’s at.
This inconspicuous restaurant serves up what can be described as a fusion of Chinese and Vietnamese food for cheap cheap cheap.
Im here on a Thursday night every week because for about $ 22 you can feed two people with a generous sized serving of Phở or chinese style mains.
There are three types of Phở only. Beef. Special beef and Spicy beef with vermicelli. Ive tried two. The only reason I havent tried Special beef is because I have a good idea of what’s floating around in that one, and even the waiter couldnt translate what it was. (tripe. I’m just not a fan)
It’s a huge bowl for about $ 11. Most mains are between $ 8.50 and $ 12 which is refreshing to find. They do other noodle soups like duck and chicken or pork chop
Ask the staff if you want more spice, and they are happy to spice it up reeeeal nice.
Dont expect any fancy décor, this is a down to basics food house, it’s cash only and BYO so get prepped before you head in.
