This is my local so I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never left disappointed. It’s your usual pub food — steaks, parmas, salads, fish & chips etc, but there’s also a buffet which brings in the crowds. There’s also a sports bar which shows all kinds of different sports.

Thought we give this place another chance. Came on a Monday after work and ordered a tasting platter for two and a bottle of SSB. We sat in the back garden by the Bistro entrance. It was very quiet for 3:30 in the afternoon which was perfect! No drunken smoking swearing construction workers to ruin the moment like last time. The tasting platter was absolutely delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Might try coming here again.

You have to stop by the Bayswater Hotel & Motel for their all you can eat buffet. The place is packed every night, so you know they have to be doing something right. For only $ 25.95 you can graze the hot and cold buffet. While the cold buffet has so much to offer(with fresh fruit, vegis and salads galore), the hot buffet is where it’s at. The buffet changes nightly, but you can expect to see crispy golden fish and mussels almost every night. Items like chicken wings, lamb or roast, rice, potatoes or vegetables make the rotation regularly. If you order an A La Carte item(like angus sirloin with creamy mash topped with mushroom sauce, the sizzling garlic prawns or the salt and pepper squid — which are around $ 32) you get the buffet for free. In addition to the buffet, I would have to say that the pizza there is the best I’ve tried in Perth so far. I ordered the Reggina, which has tomato, mozzarella, eggplant, ricotta cheese, olives and fresh herbs. The pizza doesn’t come with the buffet, but it’s a great deal with the price ranging from $ 14 — $ 20(depending on toppings). I would recommend getting a pizza and a jug of beer(or lemon lime and bitters) and sitting in their beer garden or playing pool in their lounge. If you want to bring a large group of people, this is also a great place. I saw many people bring their own birthday cakes and celebrate with groups of 15 people or more. If you’re planning on coming with a large group of people I would recommend making a reservation. The chefs at this place are amazing and the value you get from the Bayswater Hotel & Motel can’t be beat. Even if you’re not close by, this place is worth the drive or train ride. Bayswater Hotel & Motel is right across from the Bayswater train station. I guarantee this place will become one of your favorite spots.
