Sensational Salads

Unfortunately, the salads at Sensational Salads are not as sensational as their title would have you believe. I have gotten food from here only when it was convenient as it really is not the best place. Consider is a dull version of ‘Sumo Salad’ if you will.
Firstly, the range of salads on offer at Sensational Salads is not that wide– just your standard garden salads and fruit salads. There is also the make your own option which will allow you to get a little creative. Also on offer is a bunch of pre-​cooked quiches, tortilla stacks, lasagnes. None of these taste bad, they just lack any interesting flavours that would make you want to write home about. They also offer takeaway coffee which is convenient for anyone who wants to get their lunch and coffee at the same time.
Sensation salads should really be renamed ‘Conveniently Placed Salads’ and that really is what this place is– an OK salad bar set in a convenient inner city location (for anyone who works in the city).
