Lupus Shop

The prices have recently gone up, now you can buy many of the items new for the same price. However the people who price items clearly don’t know much about brands so you can get a cue dress for the same price as a valley girl one.
The shop is very crowded so expect to do some hunting in order to find a good piece.

This Op Shop is so small and so pack with whatever staff. Many thing laying on the floor. Honestly it was hard to check out some stuff because its too pack and not organized at all. All stuff mixed together. I can say like this because I’ve been to other Op Shop which are much more organized so they look more appealing and people will enjoy browsing stuff. I know it’s Op Shop I shouldn’t put so high expectation but you should check out next door Op Shop, it looks better and I found some stuff nice there.

This Op shop (along with the other one down the road) is my little secret! In fact, I was a little reluctant to write a review on it as I did not want to let my secret out. I prefer shopping at Op shops than vintage stores because at these stores, you actually pay a reasonable price.
I am not sure why but this op shop, in particular, will receive some of the best items of clothing. I have found some big brands being sold here for $ 5 – 10 (depending on what type of garment it is) You know that denim shirt trend? Shops like General Pants are selling them for $ 60, I found a shirt like that for only $ 4.50 at this op shop. Two of my favourite pairs of shoes have been from this place, costing only $ 5 each. I was pretty impressed one day when I managed to find an entire outfit for $ 11.
The staff here are always really lovely, it has come to the point where they recognise. The one lady who works here often is so friendly, she will suggest clothes things to me and is always willing to help.
This op shop will sell some of the best second hand and vintage clothing out there, it is a must visit for any cheapskates and vintage clothes lovers out there.

I love thrift stores, and the Lupus Shop in Indooroopilly is one of those small yet always-​find-​a-​treasure stores.
They have a decent range of clothes, but in all honesty I usually only stop by this store if I’m in need for extra items for a costume. My housemate has found pretty good men’s business suits here before though, but this isn’t my favourite store for the clothes.
What I love about this store is the crochet items (made by the volunteers) and the bric-​à-​brac; whoever donates the endless amount of awesome random things to this store should be commemorated. Endless amounts of glass bowls, jewellery boxes, and figurines, grace the shelves.
The crochet items are handmade and new but adorable. If you want something completely different have a look at the crochet vests near the front of the store; at around $ 50 and up for them, it’s pricey compared to the rest of the store but oh-​so-​cute and all proceeds go to a good cause!
