The first thing you’ll notice as you step foot on the WCIT campus is its large, artificial lake. It is both visually appealing and terrible on the nose — perhaps there is a drainage issue but there are times when the lake, which is intended to replicate a natural wetland, becomes a little too realistic for comfort. The facilities are well-appointed, and there is a wide variety of courses for study. WCIT also has a close relationship with the neighbouring Police Academy, so for those interested in a career in law enforcement, WCIT can offer a stepping stone. The lecturers are a mixed bunch — some are great, while others give the impression they are marking time until the next pay day.
