When it comes to banking I don’t think it is anyones favourite thing. Most people have a lot of bad things to say about the banks and well in this case it is different. I have nothing but good things to say about this branch/​bank.
It is slightly different to a usual branch, in that it doesn’t accept cash transactions and its focus is Migrant banking. This doesn’t mean non — migrants can’t use it. In fact, its my branch of choice and I am not a migrant. More to the point, it offers a much more personal service than other banks or branches, you feel like you are a person and not just a number. It is only small has about 5 or 6 staff, this doesn’t make it any less efficient, as all the staff know what they are talking about, if anything it makes it more intimate
I opened some accounts with ‘Deb Priestland’ and never have I experienced such a delightful person, or such a lovely bank employee. If you do go in I highly recommend her, although all of the staff are very friendly.
The bank is perfect for new people to Perth, they tell you how to set up all your accounts, and little things that ‘most’ people wouldn’t think of. But they go above just normal banking, they sort out things like tax file numbers and hold a heap of information on local activities and outings.
The interior is different to your average bank, it has a poster of a british telephone box, and has different countries flags on the wall. As well as self serve computer and phone, which is handy if you need to transfer some money when shopping!
If you are tired of grumpy bank employees or want a bank that is actually nice to go into, or even if you are new to Perth and wanting some extra information, this is the place to go!
