We walked in the door are were instantly attended to HOWEVER we were sat with another person at a four person table. I was a little shocked because ive never in all my 24 years ever had this happen to me… Also there were at least 5 tables I could see free so I was very confused. FOODTIME! They have lunch specials which all meals are $ 6.80 so it makes it super hard to really complain. I had sweet and sour chicken with vegetarian fried rice. Both were really great but even for $ 6.80 I think you should be getting a little more chicken than what was given

Quite disappointed with this one. Quite oily, and the dumpling skins were too thick. Everything was over salted and oily. I don’t think I would go back. l love dumplings a lot but this one didnt meet my expectations at all.

According to the photos on the wall, two guys between them ate 160 dumplings here. I believe it. For one thing, I counted 29 different kinds of dumplings on the menu here. You could order three of each kind — that doesn’t sound too scary, right? For another, the dumplings here are quite delicate — thin-skinned with a smaller amount of filling than dumplings found elsewhere. The flavours are also on the lighter side, like the hint of coriander in the beef and coriander dumplings. The service is also great, attentive without being overbearing. Food was on the table quite quickly. Note: dumplings are also available to take away, both cooked and frozen.

Before my critique of the food, I need to give you a SERIOUSWARNING about the ambiance of this place. The crowd this restaurant attracts is not your typical Asian group, munching away on their deals. Nope — they’re the worst kind of bogan. *Asian waitress takes order* *Bogan man gives the orders in a slow voice* *Then says«chop chop* *Bogan woman says«no that’s for the Vietnamese”* What. What. What. ??? Well, to be fair that is the worst I’ve experienced. But the general customers of this restaurant are the most awful, culturally uneducated people. /End rant. My friends and I came here and we had plenty of decently priced dumplings. The unique thing about Chinese Jin Dumpling House is that they add a kick to their dumplings — a signature sesame oil — DELICIOUS! My recommendations: Spicy Beef Pan-Fried Dumplings Pork & Cabbage Pan-Fried Dumplings and of course… Xiao Long Bao!
