Really nice food, nice place for brunch. Haloumi burger is tops! Only thing is the service can be really slow. But the staff are really nice and pleasant. Would still eat here regularly. Definitely a local favourite

Great atmosphere, food, wine. We are vego/pescitarian and love the variety. The chili brussel sprouts were great. Cod croquette were very nice. We had choc flourless & orange jam cake both were fantastic.

Pretty happy with this new find. Great food and large glasses of wine. Don’t go past a beautiful red from Spain. Don’t really think you could go wrong with any of the choices food wise, tuna carpaccio, Gruyère polenta with shitake & enoki mushroom, buttermilk fried chicken lamb kibbeh. Too full for desert, next time tho! Lovely service. This is going to be my reg go to.

The food here is really good. Like, excellent. We would go here all the time, except that the service is just so slow on weekends. It’s a big problem, we go with friends who have a toddler and little kids can’t wait 40 minutes for their meal to come out without getting grumpy and restless, and to be honest even the grownups have trouble waiting that long. It just makes an otherwise amazing place into a hassle and we all end up stressed. I feel like the lovely owners need to know this. It’s not the menu guys, your food is so so good, and we love that you are welcoming and we’d prefer to come to you than go down the road. It’s just that you need to hire extra kitchen staff.

The food is good here and the service friendly. You have to wait a bit for your order. I always get a table as it’s not that busy

Cornersmith is closed til the 14th(OUTRAGEOUS! how dare you?!), so I was forced to find an alternative, sniff. An alternative arrived in the form of Forage, on Marrickville Road. I had the Mexican Big Breakfast, and it was huge. Spicy scrambled eggs, shredded beef, guacamole, salad and corn tortillas… I never thought I would say this, can you possibly have TOOMUCH protein on the plate? Hehe. Good problem to have! My friends each had some kind of quinoa chicken salad, lots of chicken and they were very pleased with their food. I had a bite of the chicken. Very yummy.
