Massive double-storey restaurant packed with hundreds of people all making their way to the endless buffet options. Great buffet options!

I was here for lunch the other day and was left a little dissappointed. Not because of the food quality, but because of the selection. I expected much more food, but granted it was only lunch time, but I walked out without that satisfaction and felt like I could eat more if I wasn’t so bored of the selection. I’ve heard the dinner menu is good and is much better than the Burwood store. Gonna come back here for dinner one night and check it out. I am hiping I’ll walk out with a pot stomach, greasy lips and a smile.

China Bar is a well known chain in Melbourne now, offering pretty reasonable pan-Asian fare at competitive prices. This outlet is in same room where Kuni used to operate. The main feature of this China Bar is the buffet — for $ 33 for lunch you get a very good selection of Chinese, Japanese and South-East Asian favourites. The room itself is very nicely laid out and the quality of the food is very good. In general I avoid buffets, but this buffet is quite all right.
