The food was okay and the price is simply unbeatable by other restaurants around Flinders Station. Considerably large portion and a soft drink for less than a 10 $. Great deal and the location is accessible easily from the Flinders street.

Looks like crap, cheap as chips, but tastes great. No wonder this hidden gem of a restaurant is packed with students & budget conscious diners.

We travelled over the Yarra to escape the ridiculous prices at Southbank and were well rewarded for our efforts! The food arrives so quickly — piping hot straight from the wok — you can see the food being cooked — which I liked. $ 6.00 for a big plate of Shanghai Noodles — bargain!

Order the Chicken Steaks. They are outstanding, and tick 3 of the most important boxes: — tasty — quick — cheap

Kim Sing feels like it should be awful. It’s in an arcade between Flinders Lane and Flinders St, and not a touristy arcade either — It’s a dusty white linoleum kind of place. More than that, there’s absolutely no branding or decoration. There’s no ornamentation to the menu either, where dishes are given names like«beef with black bean». And it’s crazy cheap. And yet, it’s good. Not great, but good. It’s like… visiting a genuinely communist country, where prices are set by the government and where there’s no free market.
