Basil & Mint

Yum! Food was fresh and tasty. Nice place for a Sat Sun afternoon bite to eat. Authentic tastes. loved it.

Absolutely fantastic. Many times we have walked pass this place and decided to give it a go Last night. We had the Roast Duck rice paper rolls to share to start. I had chicken laksa, oh yumm busting with flavours and my friend had Bun Bo Hue soup. The servings were huge and full of brilliant flavours. LOVED IT. Definitely will be back to try other menu items. The service was brilliant. All round a fantastic experience.

It’s been quite some time since I have been to Morley but it seems like the place has gotten a bit classy. Coventry Village is but a stones throw away from the Galleria and is littered with awesome restaurants. One of these is Basil & Mint where we chose to dine and what a good choice!
The menu had 48 options to choose from which included 2 sample entrée plates ‘for one’. These single plates were of epic proportions and set the tone for the rest of the meal. It includes a single serve of satay stick, stuffed chicken wing, spring roll, prawn toast and more. Each as delicious as the other.
Now, I was stuffed from first course and I still had a pad Thai to go. Needless to say, the portion size was massive and it defeated me. It was the perfect level of spicy and harked back to my beach days in Thailand. Perfect.
I couldn’t fit in dessert but all 6 of us were super impressed with our meals and they were absolute value for money. I would go here again in a heart beat.

Went here for dinner with a group of friends on Saturday night and it was delicious!
I had the Tom Yum Chicken Soup to start with, which was just the right amount of spicy and very tasty!
For mains we all ordered a dish and then shared. I chose the old favourite — green curry — again perfect spice. I had asked for medium, so not too hot or too mild. Another favourite dish was the Chicken with Onion, Basil and Chile and Thai Prawn Salad.
Sadly it’s only BYO Tuesday to Thursday. If you enjoy a good red though try the Mojo Shiraz, was a winner.

Just had dinner here with my girlfriend and the food was very average if that. My pad Thai was not very fresh and my girlfriend wasn’t overly fond of her phở with raw beef and beef balls either. Service was not bad and the place looked nice. Not worth my time to blog about it…

Good for a quick cheap meal. Service is quick and friendly. Food is fresh and comes in generous servings. Is a little on the salty side but that may have just been the dishes we ordered. I would go back again.
