Good pub in the middle of town with plenty of dining room space. The dining room at lunch, was a little soul-less and is situated next to the sports bar.
They have daily lunch specials and whilst I chose the Vegetarian lasagne my colleagues had the chicken rissoles. They praised their choices and said the meal was great. The veg lasagne was ok — a little bland and mainly potatoe and tomatoe sauce. Nothing exciting to be honest.
The meal did come with a salad bar and the salads were fresh and a varied choice. The bread basket was empty so no bread but good salads.
