Okaish!!! Three of us stayed here for 9 nights in July, 2007. We chose it primarily for its location; in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Our room was clean, with a beautiful view of the Gold Coast and a private balcony. I don’t remember having any problems while checking in or out(it was a good thing!). Three Unilocal

Small but clean rooms with a fantastic view, even facing south-east as mine was. My aircon was playing up and the staff came back & forth 4742 times without complaint & ended up bringing me a heater. Room service finishes ridiculously early(9pm!!!), as does the bar, as apparently does all of Surfers Paradise on a Sunday night so I had to get an *OK* $ 10 pizza next door when I wanted to eat at 9:30pm… parking is plentiful & charged at $ 17/day, great location in the middle of the bizarre neon tourist strip that is Surfers Paradise.

We had a fantastic view from our hotel room. That was the only good thing other than the pool which looked nice from the lobby. The kitchen had no fan and we were informed that if our cooking would result in too much smoke we would be fined 1000 dollars because the fire alarm would go off. So we didn’t dare to use the kitchen or the food that we had bought. Other than that the hotel was very old with stained carpets and stained head guards near the bed. The balcony had cheap plastic furniture and the maids hadn’t cleaned our balcony entirely. Wifi can be bought for 25 $ per day if you have a windows XP, otherwise not.
