Authentic as hell. The buffet has moved to around the corner on Clarence St and now this place just serves burritos and stuff. This is the kind of place that you want to go when you’ve been stuck on a conference call for about an hour more than you expected and you’re STARVING. It’s perfect for when you want something big but you don’t want to hate yourself right afterwards. It’s not too expensive, tastes amazing and they’re really quick. Get into it

It’s not a real buffet. You grab a box and choose the food you like from the counter and then have them weighted. It’s $ 25 per kilo. I do not think it is cheap because many dishes are made of inexpensive ingredients such as potatoes, beans, rice and cassava. You may be offered meat including beef, chicken and pork, which is not displayed. It’s an interesting concept and you should make choices wisely.

Needed to grab a bite but with everything closing up at around 3 pm, I quickly ducked down to my fave South American place. I was hoping that I could still get a satisfying lunch. There wasn’t much left at the time I went, unless I was feeling vegetarian. However, in the corner of the hot bay section was a crusty bread roll filled with chorizo and chimichurri. My prayers had been answered, the choice was clear, a chorizo roll was the order for the afternoon. The chorizo had a smokey and spicy flavour with the crispy charred bits which I thoroughly enjoyed and slathered in chimichurri sauce. The roll was crusty on the outside but pillowy and light inside. Not sure if they regularly sell this as I usually order a burrito but definitely a tasty lunch that reminded me of my time in Barcelona. Definitely want to come back around midday next time to try the other items.

Small place with burritos south American style. After being in Australia for awhile I was seriously craving a burrito. This fulfilled it. Not a Mexican style so a bit different than what I’m used to being from San Diego. Very tasty and not too spicy. Really small so be prepared to be intimate.

The food was great. Really flavoursome. Be careful, it’s a pay per kilo system(as you would expect with a name like that) so it really adds up. If the prices were a bit more reasonable I would have scored it higher.

I come here for lunch at least once a week. Australia is slowly warming to South American cuisine. This place does SA right. The food is spicy when it is supposed to be. The salsa always taste fresh(not from a bottle). It can get busy at lunch and seating is limited so be prepared to take your food to go(kings wharf is only a couple blocks away) The only recommendation is to somehow make ordering a burrito easier. You can«cut» in front of the per kilo people but it comes off rude(to me).

Opening day today! Basically you self serve and pay per kilo for the plate! $ 2.50/100g. Food has lots of variety for the small buffet. Plate cost will vary based on your selection, but expect $ 10-$ 15. Food was very tasty! I get the feeling these guys will change up the menu constantly, so I’ll be back to check it out for sure!
