I had the peppercorn steak pie with the mash, peas and gravy top. It was very nice for a pie and a quick cheap fill. Also it was good size proper meat pieces inside. The sandwiches look amazing and I will definitely try one next time I’m passing :-)

I’ve wanted to try a meat pie for ages and just wasn’t sure which place to go to. Finally decided to check out Pie Face and it was such a good choice. They offer A bunch different flavors and a lot of dessert options. I had the chunky steak meat pie and it was extremely tasty, plenty of steak chunks and the pastry was very flavorful and flaky. I also got the sausage roll which was also very pleasing!

I guess it’s the national Australia cuisine here. Very yummy, reasonably priced, and quickly served. The one time I strayed away I ended up waiting for a very long time for just some measly breakfast sandwiches… Everything from the pies to the strudels, croissants and cookies is very good here. Sometimes I wish the staff was more friendly… You can get very unlucky here withy the staff.

Horrible service. Everyone in line had to repeat their order 5 times and ultimately had to point at what they wanted…

Get your Pie Face on. You’ll start off with a smile, yes indeed. But its simply not as good as it looks. Mini Pies are not as relatively good as elsewhere in Sydney, but fair enough, it’s decent enough versus poor U.S. standards. Coffees are good but far from wondrous. Cookie sales mostly. What else is there? Well… there’s this: If you’re looking for a cheap breakfast in an expensive town, then Almond Twist and a Coffee will keep you in budget, on a getting-by appetite.

This walk-up restaurant was reasonably priced and had a wide variety of pot pies. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely go there if I was traveling on a budget.

Here is a strange little secret… the coffee at Pie Face is the best for streets around. The food is great snack stuff for when you need to eat and run.

There’s a Pie Face on practically every block in Sydney CBD. My favourite is the chicken and mushroom pie. These mini pies make for a great midnight snack or a lovely hot breakfast. They do a great ham and cheese croissant as well. The service at these kiosks is always friendly and highly recommended for a quick and cheap bite to eat.

I had a couple of meals at this place on my holiday and really liked it. I had a Steak and Pepper Pie and Steak and Mushroom Pie and they were both very good. A tender, slightly crispy outer layer and buttery pastry, filled with savory meat. For dessert, I tried their Chocolate Pie, which was also good — a small pie filled with chocolate mousse, topped-off with a dark chocolate shell. The service was friendly and I recommend this for anyone looking to get a convenient bite.
