Haha, do people even check Unilocal for restaurants of this stature?
I can’t give a dish by dish review because I don’t have the menu with me, but I do have all the pictures so I’ll append them to my review.
I booked reservations about 3 months in advance. Kruishoutem is not really close to any major city so it’s a pretty expensive cab ride there. Or just drive and make sure your date stays pretty sober. Sometimes hard with their amazing wine list.
I remember there being a 5 or 7 course meal, with the 7 course having 2 extra lobster dishes. Originally I thought that it wouldn’t be a lot of food, but then I realized it wasn’t counting the 5 appetizers and what seemed like an all you can eat dessert finale (tldr, we were too stuffed to really take advantage).
My favorite dish was this shrimp cake covered with radish. Man I don’t know how to describe it. Honestly me describing the dishes would just be food porn. By the time you come here the menu will have changed. Just enjoy the pictures.
I’ve only been to a handful of Michelin 3 star restaurants now, and this was certainly near the top. Maybe tied with Benu or the Meadowood.

Avec 19,5/20 au Gault & Millaut et 3 étoiles au Michelin autant dire que la barre est placée très haut… mais n’a pas déçu une seule seconde! C’est simple, en dehors de l’addition — compter +/​-​300 €/​pers — absolument TOUT m’a plu!
Comme mon unique visite date d’il a déjà 3 ans, un avis détaillé et actualisé devra malheureusement attendre que la santé de ma carte VISA se retablisse et me permette de retourner dans ce temple unique de la gastronomie…

Peter Goossens is one of the best chefs in Belgium with three Michelin stars. The staff is very friendly with a good sense of humor. The food is just excellent with a nice balance in flavors. This is one of the only restaurants to trust the sommelier with his choice in pairing wines with the menu. Absolutely the best.
