San Remo is a family restaurant located along the main street in Elsinore. They offer a wide variety of traditional danish dishes, all containing more or less meat, so don’t go there if you’re a vegetarian. Food is overall OK. If you’re looking for a good deal choose from the daily specials offered on the menu boards outside. Their range of beer is pretty good with a mix of Danish and Belgian beer. They have highchairs for the children but there is no changing table in the restrooms. They offer free Wi-Fi. The hotspot ID and password can be found in the menu card.

Although staffs are friendly, hamburger meat taste nothing and sauce tastes so wired we couldn’t finish all, fried liver was okay, and fried pork also tastes nothing. The best thing that we ate was chips. But still over fried. Beer was cheap. And one of dishes was served quite late. We wait for 15min that other dishes were already served. My friends cannot use their credit card at there.

Like a lot of the other restaurants we passed, this restaurant offers a three mini-sandwiches and a beer(Wiibroe) deal for 70 – 80DKK. However, unlike some of the other places, this one also has other choices on the menu, so my wife could get a fish and chips meal. My smorrebrod sandwiches were liver pâté with bacon, ham with a mushroom/mayo sauce, and shrimps with egg and cod roe. Good sandwiches, but the fish and chips was mediocre. You order at the front and they bring your food to you. Decent stop, at least for the smorrebrod and beer deal.

RIPOFFARTISTS! I ordered two sandwiches and a soda for what was supposed to be DKK160(approximatley 28USD). Instead, the cashier/counter charged me 160 Euro(approximately 210USD). My credit card company tried to get in touch with them to fix the mistake, but they refused to talk to them. Food was decent though.
