The best cakes — at least in Denmark. Yes, I’m a cake-oholic. And yes, I’ve tried most, if not all of the bakers in Copenhagen. Dessertdragen’s cakes are, however, extraordinary, and neither can or should be compared with the mass produced products from certain ‘baker chains’ in Copenhagen.(no one mentioned, no one forgotten) Let’s take a ‘hindbærsnitte’.(awesome and simple Danish raspberry cake) — where other bakeries use a cheap, generic raspberry jam — Dessertdragen makes it’s own jam! Currently I’m living in New York City, and craving for the quality of the cakes from Dessertdragen I had my boyfriend bring some, yay. And speaking of NYC; when I left Denmark I had a special cake made by Dessertdragen — see the attached picture. When the owner of Dessertdragen moved back to Denmark, NYC lost it’s most creative soul in baking!
