Soupanatural is basically the only place you can get soup in Copenhagen. The prices are bit high considering what you get is a bowl of soup, but with no other place to go I’m willing to pay for it. It’s self-service which aligns nicely with the laid back atmosphere of the place: The sofas are worn, the chairs are old and a squeaky, and the tables are ugly and crude. All this in a dim-lighted cellar with a low ceiling(sometimes you have to duck) — I love it! It may seem weird to pay for an experience that is not the«finest of the finest», but that’s not the point here(for me at least). At Soupanatural there’s no pressure on me from waiters nor expectations on my behaviour or clothing; I can just go in, buy a bowl of soup, and sit down in my favorite squeaky chair without a care in the world.

The soup tasted really good, but I found that 89 dkk was too expensive for a simple take away soup.

Terrible service, average food and overpriced. The soup didn’t come with bread despite paying full price for large portions. We waited for over 30 minutes after being told it would take 15 minutes for the bread to be ready. By the time I finished my bowl the bread still wasn’t ready… we left extremely disappointed with no desire to return to Soupanatural.

I’m a celiac, so finding tasty food that doesn’t try to kill me is hard. The people here are kind, they have free WiFi, and the food is wonderful. Its perfect for a chilly Copenhagen day.

I found this place while searching for GF food in Copenhagen. It’s simply soup and drinks. The afternoon I walked in it was just the girl behind the bar. She translated the menu for me and when I couldn’t decide between two soups, she let me try them! I went with the Gullash soup with tortilla chips because their bread isn’t GF. I posted pictures-I finished every last drop. So good!!! Paired with a nice glass of fresh squeezed lemonade… Mmm… All for 84 kroner. Some of my American cohorts might suggest this is pricey but for a hearty, organic meal– I don’t think it gets much better. Add that it’s gluten free!?! Slap me and call me Sally! Ambiance was cozy. I bet this place is great on a cold winter day :)

There’s not much to say guys. If you want an affordable, delicious and healthy meal check this place out. I had the spicy lentil soup with parsley leaves sprinkled on top with two slices of bread on the side. Everything was great, soup was the perfect spice and warmed me up inside and out! Te bread is awesome as well, so soft! I want to try other places in CPH but it’s so hard when a place is that good! And cheap!

It was cold outside, I was craving soup, I searched«soup» on Unilocal and I could not have been met with a more perfect and delicious match! I had the hot red soup(or something like that — the name reminded me of Roald Dahl the author haha). It definitely had a kick, but it wasn’t too much — the consistency was so yummy and the bread was such a perfect combination! It was also a perfect place because it served beer for my non-hungry Belgian traveling companion. Friendly service, superb atmosphere, reasonable Scandinavian prices — would love to go back for more!

This place has gone downhill. FIrst came here 2 years ago and had the black bean soup. Sublime. Came here recently and the soup tasted mediocre… no flavour at all. The server asked me if I wanted Sesame seed salt, so I said yea since he recommended it. He put a generous pinch on and I sat down, stirred it in and tasted it. Wayyy too much salt. Was this fool new or just some kind of bizarre salt fiend? You can keep your soup, fools, I’ve learned that when you start stretching out your business and taking over the city, unless your abnormally good, you start to suck. That’s exactly what happened here. Shame, because the concept(all organic ingredients! casual 90s décor) is just what i love…

HOWDIDITTAKEMESOLONGTOFINDTHISPLACE??? Seriously, this place is delicious and reasonably priced. For 60dkk you get a large bowl of delicious soup! What’s not to like? Plus the atmosphere is wonderful and quirky! Definitely going back and SOON!

Finding this place after walking about in Copenhagen in a snow storm and –5 degrees is, if not a miracle, a very very good thing. And mind you, it is hard to find at first, I walked past it several times before noticing a sign and some stairs down to what looks like a basement. Their concept is simple, serve a set of 4 – 5 different kinds of soup from the menu plus a «daily» soup which is different from day to day. Choose between a small and a large bowl and you will get that plus some bread and your drink(they offer beer and some juices plus a daily cocktail) and you’re ready to sit down. The place can be quite full at times, it’s cozy, but you might have a hard time finding your way out and past the soup queue balancing your tray let alone finding a seat. As for the soup it tastes great and you will get more full than you expect initially. I find it that even the small bowl is enough, must be those lentals. They do offer vegetarian soups(most of them I believe) which is a plus in my book. It’s also cheap and the staff is friendly and laid back! If you check them out on Facebook you’ll see they have regular events with live DJs and cocktails, haven’t tried that yet though. Thumbs up!

Blink and you might miss it, it is downstairs from the street. The soup was very hearty and a much needed change from my regular died of kebab. Wasn’t a huge fan of the bread as the crusts were hard to chew.

I love Soupanatural! This is their cozy basement-esque location, with a large variety of different seating(comfortable chairs, bar stools, couches, etc.). It’s usually warm, and smells of delicious soup — no surprise :) It is a good place to come in out of the cold Danish winter to! I would often come here after yoga to get whatever the daily special was, because it was only 25 kr! In the summer, the serve koldskal too. For visitors, koldskal is a tasty Danish dish of sweet lemon-flavored yogurt/milk with Nilla wafer-like cookies in it – it’s really, really good! Perfect treat for a hot day.
