Great bar with nice vibes and music, offering cheap beers, cocktails but also a quite good selection of food. I really like going there late in the afternoon to try one of their beers and have some tapas or snacks along with it. The place is not that big but there is always a table or a seat to grab. They offer different kind of breakfast food, brunch and dinner for a really low price as well. The atmosphere is really chill and casual, and again: great music(first time I have ever heard Morrissey outside!) and good beer. I definitely recommend this place!

Great atmosphere, awesome coffee, tasty beers and good music. So I’d advice going to this place.

Hipster beer bar and eatery. They also have wine. As a wannabe-hipster myself(yes, I admit it) this is one of my go-to places in downtown Copenhagen. I usually go here when I want a beer with a friend after having been to the cinema or having been out to eat. The atmosphere is very casual, not too much noise, and because everyone is seated it doesn’t feel crammed. However, the place isn’t huge and there’s not a lot of seating. The interior decoration is minimal yet homely; bare yellow brick walls and old, way too worn, wooden chairs — I love it! The place stands out from the rest of the bars in the area(which are all really divey«let’s get drunk» bars) — so if you’re not into that, going here is a no-brainer. They have a unique selection of import and Danish beer. Notably they normally have 4 – 5 different bottled beers from the US, which I haven’t seen anywhere else in Copenhagen. They also serve some small dishes like soups and salads — if you’re very hungry, you should go somewhere but otherwise I can recommend it. Din Nye Ven is pretty good, but I do feel it’s missing something. I can’t put my finger on what it is — maybe if they dimmed the light just a bit? I don’t know. I would give it three and a half stars if could, still a very good place though.

Stumbled upon this place when trying to find a quiet place to get some lunch. I have heard about it before through Unilocal but did not know exactly where it was located. Coming from the crowded restaurants in town it was quite a relief to enter Din Nye Ven, it was not at all crowded and the relaxing music flowing through the speakers was at an acceptable level. I decided to go for the vegetarian soup that on this day(it seems to vary from day to day) was made of potatoes and leek. It turned out to be an excellent choice, the soup also had some roasted rhye bread sprinkled on top, delicious! Service was friendly and prices seemed reasonable as well. You could see quite some people reading e-books or watching movies/series on their tablets and I will definitely come back here to get some work done or read a good book.

I’ve never been at a Unilocal event until yesterday but it was absolutely great! They’d decided to have it at «Din Nye Ven»(translated: Your New Friend) — the symbolism was thought through, and I made lots of new friends! It really was great! Also, I started using Unilocal, which I’ve never done before. Din Nye Ven was wonderful. The food was homemade, which especially means a lot to a food fanatic like me. It looks home made and tastes wonderful! The place is small and even though I’ve lived in Copenhagen for quite some years now, I’ve never noticed this little restaurant before, but it certaintly wont be my last visit.

One of my favorite coffee places in Copenhagen, good prices and a cosy atmosphere. They don’t serve food, which would be nice, but their coffee and drinks are great!
