So French in a lovely way a small and cozy Bistro owned by a French guy who has been living for long in Denmark. The restaurant has been open for many years and it has a lovely ambiance. The food is very very good it is like going to France during lunch. The wine list is amazing they own the wine bar Tire-bouchon just across the street which allows them to import their own wines and they chose wisely. I had an omelette with fromage de chevre and roasted almonds it was very nice with a salad on the side and a charcuterie plate like only the French now. For dessert we had a petit four delicious mini crème brûlée profiteroles and an extra I can’t remember. The coffee is also great. The service is quite good. So I definitely recommend a long lunch here!

I am personally used to having a breakfast with eggs, which is strangely difficult to find over the traditional pastry in Copenhagen. If you are seeking a well rounded meal this place is the diamond in the rough. The French know eggs, go and indulge!

Had a very cozy dinner here last night and if you like French cuisine I would definitely recommend it. The atmosphere was good with lot’s of friendly people and the French staff were also super friendly, they were a bit busy but still made sure they asked how things were. It’s a bit expensive but the food was really tasty.

This is really a lunch spot — and a pretty decent one I’d say. It’s is an institution in central CPH and attacks a crowd. A truly French place, you get authentic efficient and arrogant service by French waiters absolutely free of charge. As for the food, it is excellently prepared and tastes great. I’d say I’ve tried most of the dishes on the menu and have one good advice: Go for the lunch and whatever you do, make sure to get the moules frites — yummy!

Three seems a little mean, but four would be too many. My wife and I dropped in after a trip to the pub. The menu was small(a good sign) and the service was friendly. On this Sunday evening, there were tables available without reservation, but the reputation is such that we were not concerned. We started with soup(wifey says it was good), and nicely cooked mussels for me. The main course of venison was nicely cooked, rich and tender. However, it was not something that was out the ordinary and certainly did not represent French cuisine the great extent. It was nothing that would not come from a good English kitchen(mock if you are ignorant — go and eat at Café Sommersko). The desserts were delightful, crème brulle very nicely done and very nice petit four with beautiful coffee. However, for all the excitement, it was very nice and and satisfactory. A-OK. However, I have high standards for a place that calls itself French, the macaroon was slightly burnt, just details, but enough to make it A-OK. I might well go back, but that is because we are in Copenhagen. Was it Paris or Brussels I would not consider returning. I recommend Café Pastis instead.

When entering the restaurant we were met by a waitress(not super service minded) we were a party of five and were seated in the back corner. After a while the waitress came to our table with menu cards, and we ordered. We waited quite a while before our food was served, but it was worth the wait. We had Moules frites, charcuteri and omelet, and it was all really good. They kept making sure that we had enough bread, and that everything was ok, despite the fact that it was a bit hectic in the beginning. For dessert we had coffee and cake, and again we were very happy with the food. Would def. come back again as the food was great :)
