This was a surprise. 1: I live right next to this place. Did not expect greatness, especially after reading the other reviews in here, but things changes it seems. 2: I have eaten here before, but a good while ago. Not bad, not brilliant. And this was different. So the story goes… My girlfriend is allergic to taste-enhancers. You know, that stuff many asian places uses instead of salt. She gets hellish headaches from this. So we call them up and asks if they use this stuff, and get an english explanation that we can get the food as spicy as we wish for… Ooookay, that was not the question, but it seems legit :). We go for it, we order 2 lamb-dishes, papadums, naan and chutney, plus onion bhaji. We do this by phone, since Just-eat(danish delivery-system) is built out of old cardboard and other useless items. We wander down to pick it up, 20 minutes later. And it is almost ready, the waitress tells us about how they cook, that they do every dish from scratch and proper, and that they do Not use taste-enhancers, she just misunderstood me over the phone. She checks that everything is there, and we wander of to home. 10 minutes later, food is out on the table, and it is mouthwatering. I do have a weakness for indian food, but this was really damn good, really damn cheap too, and made to order, really fast. I have no complaints. My eating-environment was my livingroom, so i will not complain about that(it’s mine after all)…what can i put my finger on? One thing. The place. There is something about that place, the neon-sign outside, the yellow paintjob inside… it feels confused, messy… cliché and not in that cute way. I have decided i will do these brilliant cooks and the nice waitress a favour. I will go there again, and give them good solid advice on décor, colours, art on the walls and so on. If that place started being really cozy and indian in the right way, it would be most perfect, and i will re-rate it to 5 stars :) Is you like indian food, take the chance and swing by. Or get take-away from here. :) Love and light, and all that.

Not too expensive but the food was too oily. Not as good as I remembered it.

Ate here a couple of weeks ago. The food is of poor quality and the currys are virtually half oil, floating on top. I would not recommend this place.
