We went here through«early bird» and had a great small menu. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes. Excellent sushi. Nice selection of cocktails

Saw the positive Unilocal reviews so my GF and I decided to try the place out. We showed up and luckily were seated immediately. This probably had something to do with the fact that half the restaurant was empty. We ordered the Duck ramen, chicken wraps, beef dumplings, side seaweed salad and multiple drinks. We enjoyed all the food but there were some drawbacks. My girlfriend fortunately discovered two large bones in her chicken Wraps, not someone you want to find in a dish your suppose to eat whole. Once we brought this to the attention of the server she apologized and offered us some free drinks– which we appreciated. The Raman was good, the broth was a tad bit strong and the portion size for a Raman dish was small. However, it was still pretty good and the duck was plentiful. The drinks we ordered, which included sake were pretty good. However, it took us a while to get our drinks. Furthermore, it took us a while to get everything! The service was horrible! The restaurant was half empty and it took 3x as long for every task to be completed. Lastly, they completely forgot to bring my GF her been dumplings… Thus, the lackluster service, bones in food and not bringing a dish caused me to slash three stars. Also, «Kung Fu» is a Chinese term. Perhaps the wrong name for a Japanese restaurant.

Tolles Konzept! Japanisch angehauchte Cocktails und dazu tolles Essen. Hatte 3 sehr gute Cocktails und dazu Hühnchen Teigtaschen mit Wasserwalnuss und Hefeteigtaschen mit Ente. Alles super! Die Atmosphäre passt sehr gut. Einfach toll. Pro Person sollte man so 60 Euro einplanen.

Mmmmmmm. The chicken ramen was amazing. Spicy and full of flavor. Nice veggies, chicken was perfectly cooked. Also had the ginger chicken wraps. This meal was delicious. Bartender was very helpful and friendly. We had take away. We will try and get back before leaving Copenhagen.

The food was decent but the service was VERY slow… So the whole experience really wasn’t that great. The waitress kept saying«oh sorry, I forgot you» to every table! We were supposed to enjoy a 20% rebate for the whole meal, but she FORGOT the deal… Furthermore, she gave us the wrong bill, which included two extra beers that we never drank. I might come back in the future, but before that I want to make sure that they have changed the waitress.

This place was just ok. We tracked it down after two weeks in Istanbul and we wanted Ramen. They said they had ramen. If Ramen was a Mexican dish with carnita meat and cilantro, then yes, this was ramen. If you’ve eaten sopa de fideo, and thought that was ramen, then sure, this was Ramen. But coming from San Diego, and being spoiled with all the wonderful options of real Ramen… this was NOT Ramen. It was a decent bowl of soup. Tasty. Definitely overpriced, but not Ramen. Maybe sushi is their thing. We didn’t try that and other people were eating sushi and seemed happy about it. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. The portion size for what we paid was silly, but that was expected. For two small bowls of ramen, an order of dumplings(4) and a beer, the tab came to $ 68US dollars or 357DK.

Well. The food was great, no doubt. But the service ruined the picture, so to say. The waitress apparently had a bad day — but honestly, then don’t go to work! No smiles, slow service, took plates even when some of us were still eating, and worst, we got the 5 course tasting menu, and were asked to use the same plate for mussels, meat, dumplings etc!

a japanese-style pub named after what is known to westerners as chinese martial arts? photos of bruce lee decorate the walls. despite the name, i came here two years ago and enjoyed a good meal of tofu salad, braised pork, and kimchi pork belly. the service wasn’t great but i wasn’t expecting it anyway. for dining week this year i thought it would be nice to revisit kung fu. just as out-of-place as the name was the basmati rice we were served with our main. strangely it was presented in a very traditional suribachi, which is used as a mortar in japan. it is really sad that such a fine utensil is only used to hold rice, and not even japanese rice. the appetizer of marinated cod didn’t taste of much until a patch of sea salt hit the tip of my tongue and nearly burned it out for the rest of the meal. the main course fared only slightly better; the beef in goma sauce was cooked perfectly but was not warm enough. the mushroom and bok choy stir fry would have been better if they cut the button mushrooms into smaller pieces or maybe left them out altogether since they were barely cooked. the shiitake and bok choy were tasty, as were the cauliflower pickles. as for the«kimchi» i don’t even want to comment on it but as my danish dinner mate aptly put it; «it’s made for the western palate. kind of like ketchup.» it could have been worse but it could have been so much better. i am not grading this next to izakayas in japan or even california, i was just expecting the same standard as last time. the service was the same as last time, except for a chuckle when we opted not to add a tip. the only two things i enjoyed without any complaint were the yuzu ice cream and a bite of my dinner mate’s salmon. definitely not enough to bring me back while there are better japanese restaurants in town.
