One of the best meals we had in Copenhagen! I was a little more than apprehensive to go to dinner inside Tivoli(and I eventually came around to its charms as well), but we were thrilled with our dinner at Nimes. The hay ash and juniper that other reviewers have mentioned is not to be missed. There were no bad dishes. The beetroot starter was very good — making boring beets a veggie you cannot stop eating. Even the bread and butter is exceptionally delicious. For main courses our party had the fish, scallops and beef filet and we all cleaned our plates. The dishes were all very inventive, seasonal and used local ingredients in the style of modern Danish cuisine. One thing that made the meal exceptional was the service. Our waiter was exceptional. Wine was always poured, water glasses filled, and our courses arrived flawlessly together. Tip: you have to pay for admission to Tivoli to dine at Nimes so you might as well go early to enjoy the theme park.

We were a little dubious about a restaurant inside Tivoli, but we had a memorable meal, with all sorts of interesting and novel flavors, like hay ash and juniper. We had the seasonal menu and enjoyed every course right up to the dessert with sweet-pickled green strawberries, white chocolate, sorrel and peas.

Lovely place in the middle of the beautiful Tivoli Attentive staff and excellent food the wrapped beef tartare was delicious while the grilled beef was juicy and incredibly savory Lastly, had the yogurt that included dill and such delightful texture
