Unexpectedly sophisticated restaurant inside Tivoli Gardens(can access restaurant from the street and avoid paying entrance fee to gardens). My husband and I dined there on a weeknight; restaurant was busy, mostly with business people, but service excellent and wait staff had no difficulty keeping up with demand. Our waiter was friendly and experienced. Excellent quality dishes, very fresh and inventive. We had grilled octopus, beef tartar, monkfish, crab, delicious desserts. Sommelier very knowledgeable and helpful.

Was there in the evening. The menu changes quite often, but it seems quite traditional Danish. However, most dishes have an interesting twist that you only notice when your waiter tells you about it, and you see the dish. Definitely worth a try! Love the atmosphere, and there is the most beautiful view of Tivoli parc from the restaurant. Was there in December, and had the view of the parc in Christmas lights.

Stopped in for drink break while in Tivoli Gardens. Service was a bit slow, even though they weren’t busy at ~4:30pm. Coffee came with delicious little shortbread cookies and the view was great. Expensive — about 7USD/cup! Other less posh shops have cheaper coffee. Bottom Line: View was great and the place has a refined atmosphere. Be prepared to pay extra and wait a while.

Horrible service, waitress couldn’t help us find a wine we would like, manager came over to help us and said there is nothing on the menu that would suit our palate. We googled the wines and found something that suited us just fine. Finally we get the wine and she forgets the ice bucket until we request one. We asked the waitress about the menu and she couldn’t answer any of the questions. We ordered a steak medium it came out rare. We ordered scallops and no where on the menu did it state it had bacon. And we don’t eat pork. We provided feedback to the manager and he defended the waitress saying she did everything she could to please you. Overall just a terrible experience for a fancy restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Food are fantastic but the service was a bit slow. It wasn’t busy time btw, so we were kind of OK with this restaurant. I am very glad though to dine at this famous restaurant finally. A smily face for simply being there for the first time, lol!

I was not impressed by this restaurant. I had heard about Nimb and yesterday I was so happy that I could finally visit it. However I was disappointed. The interior is nice. Nice furniture, very comfortable and luxurious. So they get points for that! But the service and food were average. For these prices I would expect the waiters to pour the wine and not to do it yourself. There was so little space that they could not fit themselves behind us so they gave us the plates hand in hand over the table. The main course was around an hour late. They apologized but again, I would have expected more. And I usually don’t care about stuff like this but when the prices are high the service should be excellent. The food, was definitely overpriced. I had the lobster bisque for a starter. There was not even one piece of lobster for 165 dkk. There were some vegetables that were almost raw and very sweet and in my opinion ruined the taste. For a main course I had fish. It was hake fish which tasted good. However for 230 dkk you got a small piece which was under all that fennel you can see in the pic. And as dessert I had the chocolate fondant, which they say should have a liquid heart but it was almost fully baked-no liquid. I have had better fondants in cheap cafés. And for 115 dkk it was definitely not what I expected. They also lacked imagination of making a plate look nice. Hopefully I was just very unlucky with my choices and that others have had a better experience. But I can’t give more than 2 stars.

I had a pretty decent quality meal here, but it was rather over-priced for the quality of the service. I know that food in Copenhagen is expensive to begin with, but one day after walking around all evening I wound up here. They have a decent wine list, the beer was only okay. I ended up having a really great appetizer of «salted salmon» which was served with lemon and frisee, and then the main course of a really good beef tartare, which was also served with frisee and then decent french fries on the side. The salted salmon itself was of excellent quality and the tartare meat was perfectly seasoned. That said, the restaurant itself was really casual in terms of dress and atmosphere, I was out on the heated balcony overlooking the Tivoli park, and the waiters/waitresses were having some really bad service issues. I could not for the life of me get anyone to bring my check and then afterwards, had a lot of trouble getting them to take my money. As well as I could tell, they had a brand new waitress that didn’t know what to do but also wasn’t really allowed to do anything important like actually take the order or bring my check, or take my money. As far as I could tell she was only allowed to… cut bread and fill water glasses. Oh well. It ended up being about 400kr(about $ 80USD) for a simple dinner of 2 dishes and one local beer.

After walking around in the rain and snow for five hours, I needed somewhere to rest and hopefully eat something so amazing it would put the life back in me. Near-everything was closed since most of Copenhagen’s shops go to bed around 6pm. It was a true hallelujah moment when the nicest Danish biker in the world told me the brasserie at the Nimb Hotel was still open for dinner(he even called the hotel desk for me to ask if it was still open! and no sillies he wasn’t hitting on me). I’d been inside the fancy hotel days before for a fashion show, but I’d never imagined that it’d have a public restaurant open after 9pm. Seeing as how it’s one of the most expensive hotels in Copenhagen, the décor inside was appropriately tasteful and elegant with lots of fresh flowers everywhere, but it wasn’t so overwhelmingly lavish that I felt weird about going inside in all my snow-dusted glory. Fortunately, it was way past the usual dinner time and there were only a few guests holding quiet conversations over their emptied plates. The host seemed aware that I’d been through hell and back and didn’t comment on my haggard appearance. He offered me a warm table and seat that had a view of the unlit Tivoli grounds. Everything on their menu was surprisingly affordable and my waitress made a couple suggestions when I asked, but once I sat down I felt too exhausted to even think, let alone eat a full meal. Plus I felt iffy about having to trek back to my hostel after 10pm. I ended up ordering just dessert: crème brûlée, macarons, and a big pot of green tea. All of it tasted great without being overly sweet. It was really nice sitting there in the glowy beautiful interior, drinking hot tea, regaining my energy. While I can’t offer any reviews on their entrees, I had great service plus perfect food, and an overall rejuvenating experience here.

Arrived at Nimb and was quite impressed with the décor and the atmosphere at the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and took our order, and it did not take time before our starters were served. Unfortunately the white wine were lukewarm, so we had to wait quite a while before it was chilled and drinkable. For starter we had risotto with scallops which didn’t really impress me. However, The main course moules mariniéres was fantastic. Dessert was a very good crème brûlée. The overall experience was good, but the waitress was not very attentive, and as wine was not places at our table but in a wine bucket a bit from the table the waiters were making sure that guests glasses were full, however, most of the time our waitress failed to notice which were quite annoying. Then if having a busy night they could have placed the wine near the table so we could help ourselves instead!
