The staff was really unfriendly and rude. The food was way to little and not so special. I do not recommend this place.

Service was friendly if a little slow(although I find the standard of speedy service to be different in Europe from America). Food was very good and the atmosphere was cozy. Would visit again.

I kind of feel like you need to sit and have a meal somewhere in the Nyhavn area when you visit Copenhagen. Maybe it’s because it’s the touristy thing to do. Or maybe because it is a beautiful area to sit outside and people watch. My suggestion if you’re going here is maybe just stick to having a drink outside. The food overall was very«meh». I had a burger. It was okay but certainly nothing special. Fries were decent as I did enjoy the seasoning on them. Wife was not a fan of her club sandwich at all. Overall the food was not worth it especially for the price you pay. I think next time we are in Copenhagen we will just stick to having a drink on the Nyhavn and eat elsewhere.

I wish I could give this place zero stars as one is far too generous. Service was… well someone was there to take our order, bring it and take away the dishes. Once flagged down. So yay you did the bare minimum? Anyway I had been craving a decent sandwich and a club is my go to, so I order the club. How can you ruin a simple sandwich you ask? Load it down with mayonnaise. I’m a big mayonnaise fan. I love it, BUT, when it leaks out of my sandwich and all over the plate and my hands? Eh no beuno. The best way I can describe this was mayonnaise with a touch of sandwich. Fries were very meh. I felt bad only eating half, but I just couldn’t do it. This experience enjoyed while listening to duelling accordion and idling motorcycle, totally out of the cafes control but added to the experience. Find a better place to eat.

The service is terrible. We waited 1h for our bill. The food is okey. Especially The fish dishes. The burgers and sandwiches are quite greasy.

This was my first time visiting Copenhagen and I am really glad I chose to eat at this restaurant/pub. In my opinion, Nyhavn is one of the most picturesque urban parts of Copenhagen and just about every restaurant on the street has outdoor seating. Nyhavn 17 was even so kind to provide every guest with fleece blankets to keep warm during the brisk spring day of our visit(late April). One area where they could improve is the type of tables they use outside. They are all lightweight aluminum and some don’t sit flat on the cobblestone. Our table outside was wobbly. I ordered the Shooting Star(steamed and fried plaice, with caviar, prawns and asparagus on the side). The fish was cooked beautifully and went very well with its accompaniments. The prawns are actually brine shrimp, a small error of translation. My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries which was deceivingly simple on the menu. My goodness, it was the best burger of his(and my) life! It was perfectly tender and flavourful. My boyfriend thankfully saw through my politeness and offered me another bite of his dish. The perfectness of the burger’s composition and flavour profile merits use of a fork and knife — a common eating practice we noticed among the Scandinavians. In the middle of our lunch, the wind began to pick up. The whole day it had been brisk, but we were determined to sit amongst the lunchtime crowd outside to enjoy the scenery. When the wind eventually blew over one of the bikes leaning against the wall and most of our napkins(which I chased down), we decided to head inside. The servers made no hesitation in helping us. Overall, service was attentive and kind. The area is heavily populated by tourists and English is commonly spoken. With two orders of Carlsberg draft beer, the bill came out to an even 300DK.

Great selection of beer and some Danish specialities, not much in the way of vegetarian. Felt a bit too touristy but there were an equal amount of locals.

One of many slightly overpriced bars in this lovely area of Copenhagen. Spot the Danesthey are the ones sat on the edge of the harbour drinking booze they brought with them. This is wise. Apparently the interior of this pub is really worth looking at. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see it as while I was approaching the pub about 80 people went in. I am not kidding, it must have been a bus load of people. That or a most bizarre cosmic coincidence. Rather than risk the scrum we sat outside(where the view is of course not to shabby either!) and enjoyed a pint in the evening sunshine. The exterior of the building is very distinctiveif you are looking for it you should certainly find it!
