A very decent, albeit tiny coffee place. The coffee is excellent, but the breakfast items could be more exciting.

Like the name implies, in more ways than one, this place focuses on the coffee. Like other cafes, it’s not as much about polite service as it is being efficient, and I appreciate that. The coffee drinks are a bit more expensive than other cafes in Copenhagen, but I’d say the quality of drink was also above average. While not extremely cozy on the inside, it is a good place to sit and talk with friends or come and work on your computer.

It’s always good to find a place where to sit. relax and have the best coffee in the other hand;-)this place is one of the best. The prices for coffee & chocolates are not so cheap but if you know how to taste the good products… I must say… it’s not expensive the prices at all! I’ve been going around the city and tried many places. some are cheaper. some are more expensive .but this place called ‘Coffee First’ is one of the best !! I also tried the breakfast which is not many choices but atleast they served organicl .The cheese was good and the bread as well. the boil egg will prepare it on the spot so you can choose if you want hard or soft boiled(Just let them know) I managed to get my soft boiled egg and the marmalade. ???Yummy! ! Everything’s good in this place except the one thing that it’s difficult to find this place because of less visibility. Hope this place can work for bigger sign outside so people like me will find it easily

Back in the days when Estate Coffee benevolently ruled Gl Kongevej 1, you had mediocre service and sublime quality coffee. Who cares about service when you can get the best coffee in town, yes? Alas! With the shift in ownership, quality is a thing of the past(and service hasn’t improved). I just paid 64 kr for a sour and undrinkable small Americano, day old, visibly dry rye bread with presliced, rubbery cheese and an overcooked egg. Stay away. If push comes to shove, 7Eleven offers better quality.

A solid cappuccino, if not kinda expensive. But I think the cost is par for the course in Copenhagen, so I won’t hold it against the place. Not as good as some of the best I’ve had, but certainly far from the worst, with some lovely foam art on top of the good rich coffee — dark without being bitter or overroasted. I probably passed 20 coffee shops on the way from my hotel to here, but I wanted to walk a bit, and I ended up not being disappointed, so no harm done.

Delicious. This place definitely ranks among some of the better cafes I’ve been to and I recommend a stop if you are nearby.

the coffee may be snobby, but the staff is definitely not. great tea and coffee served with a smile, who knew? i even got danish lessons from one of the baristas on two separate occasions. unfortunately for the vegan and lactose-intolerant customers, there is no soymilk since these folks are serious about their coffee. the café is a bit small, so you may have to be a bit rude to get a seat. otherwise take your coffee and croissant and go sit by the lakes, weather permitting. and don’t forget to get your card stamped.(:
