This place is THE shit! ************************ the shit The best. This word is very interesting. The important part of it is without THE, an entirely different meaning applies. My teacher is shit= bad teacher. My teacher is THE shit = greatest teacher( ) My car is the SHIT ************************ I’ve tried: Sea buckthorn sorbet Amager(their flagship product) — cream-based lemon icecream with raw liquorice powder and chunks of white chocolate Mint/Chocolate Raspberry sorbet Pistaccio Nutella & Crispy cookies The ice cream is several levels above the competition. Took my brother who’s been working at Paradis(danish ice cream franchise) for a couple of summers to Ismageriet to benchmark the place. He said it was several levels above the rest. This place is worth even driving 30 mins to get to.

Really good ice cream… just look at the line when you come up to it. Try all kinds of stuff, but i really like the mint chocolate chip and the sour cherry and cream! It was a good walk from our place and a good walk back just to work in the ice cream! Don’t miss this place

I have both good and bad news: good news — the best ice cream in Copenhagen is .5 miles away from me. bad news — the best ice cream in Copenhagen is .5 miles away from me. Good news for my sweet tooth, bad news for my summer bod that never was. My first(of many) visits to this place was today and for 35 kroner(5.3 usd) I got a waffle cone with one scoop of carmel and one scoop of NUTELLAOREO, yes NUTELLAOREO. Why isn’t this flavor everywhere?! Anyways, this ice cream is to me a mix between gelato and ice cream — super soft almost fro-yo like but extremely rich and smooth texture. The flavors are clearly hand swirled with bits of oreo and ribbons of carmel and nutella randomly dispersed throughout. Essentially, I couldn’t improve anything about this place even if I tried. Friendly service, charming ambiance, a line out the door and freaking good ice cream. See you soon, neighbor.

This ice cream shop is 6 km away from central Copenhagen, to get here you can either walk an hour or use public transportation. The walk can offer views of a real Copenhagen, one far away from the tourist. Once you arrive at ismageriet a wonderful experience commences. You will make a short line and then be presented with many –around 20 I would guess– flavors of ice cream. On my visit I tried two and they were both delicious. The ice cream is not that expensive, and it is very creamy and they offer a variety of «gourmet» flavors. Overall, if you want to venture outside of the tourist madness, this is a great place to visit, the only downside is that making a choice of flavor is difficult: P

Fantastic icecream parlour by the award winning BIG housing blocks. Especially recommend the vanilla, lemon and licorice flavour. And great coffee too.

One of the places I had to visit while in Copenhagen was Ismageriet. My favorite dessert is ice cream so whenever I travel, I have to try the city’s best. Ismageriet did not disappoint. The ice cream shop is located in a suburban neighborhood and was a bit difficult to find on foot from our hotel, Crowne Plaza Towers. A small store, but there’s ample seating in their outdoor patio. I decided to get strawberry, vanilla, and caramel, and although I have had better in the states, this was still fantastic ice cream. Not too sweet, great texture, flavor, and consistency. Definitely worth a stop!

Little we can add to all these great reviews other than this is a must stop on the way to the airport in Copenhagen. The best ice cream we have ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Easily the best ice cream in Copenhagen! It’s so good that you’ll be queuing up even when it’s raining! Try their soft ice, also outstanding!

I love this place. Some of my happiest moments in Copenhagen are of this place. You can’t go wrong, I promise. Ice cream is about 60−80kr a pop(depending on size). Everything, and I mean everything, is delicious here. If you live in Copenhagen, you have to come here. It’s 200% worth the trek(only a 10min walk from the Ørestad station.

Best. Ice. Cream. Ever. And it’s super cute, too! Grab your family, or a date, or your girlfriends, or your boyfriend, or your ice-cream loving self, and get over there. Now.
