This place is located pretty central in Christianshavn and has a lot of place. It also had quite the buzz when I visited the place with a friend a regular boring tuesday evening. We ordered two cups of coffee and 30 minutes later they arrived, somewhat lukewarm and not tasting that great. To compliment the coffee, a piece of chocolate and a dry cracker was served. They wanted the atmosphere to reflect american diner, but it didn’t quite feel that way. It felt a little«forced». It wasn’t really that great a place and I probaly wont be heading back.

Cold eggs, slow service, dry pancakes that resemble and taste something between a brick and an old kitchen sponge and refuse to suck up any maple syrup, and to top it off, waffles drowning in caramel sauce with two sad slices of banana — all served by a perpetually confused and hungover waitress. But hey, at least you get a dry marshmallow with your coffee, it is American after all, right? Did I mention that the bacon is deep fried?

Decent array of burgers, milkshakes, brunch menus and more. The best brunch we’ve found in Copenhagen. Very kind staff, cozy surroundings and you don’t have to wait long for the food.

I came here after a friend told me about the one in Christianshavn. It was a Sunday evening so it was not so busy. The waitress was nice and took our order quickly. The house white wine was cold and delicious. I had the chicken sandwich with Brie cheese and prosciutto and my friend had the chicken Kiev. Both good. We sat outside since the weather was nice and because I nside was very hot and the décor is tacky. But I must say their menu is huge and they have nice staff. I am looking forward to coming back and trying their breakfast burrito or brunch menu. It looks yummy!

I was there with two fiends sitting outside for a quick dinner. I am not sure I am a fan of the décor and except for the outside seats in street leading up to the«Det Nye Teater» and with several other restaurants the place, the inside sort of reminds me of a generic 90’s mall restaurant — not terribly impressed… However the food was great. Two us us had the burger, which came with plenty — almost too many — well served fries. The actual burger was clearly good quality meat and not the expected Danish misunderstanding(too lean and hard packed). It was cooked perfectly pink(however they could have asked what we wanted — but never mind, they got it right). The bread was light and the garnish was simple and worked. So altogether very satisfied and extremely full. We also all had a really good smoothy with a mix of at least pineapple and mint — and loads more stuff. really tasty and worth it. I will be coming back for that burger, which in my opinion is the best bet for a burger in that neck of the woods.

Came in with some friends for a few drinks around 9PM on a Monday eve. Service was fine, but apparently they started cleaning the fry oil while we(and some other guests) were still there. Resulting in everything — including our clothes — smelling remarkably of fry oil. That’s a bit gross. :-)(hint: wait until the guests have left or get some better ventilation!) Have been here before and had the food — no reason to come for that.(tried a few different dishes including the burger, and it’s below average Copenhagen and — as they pretend to be an American diner — NYC level)
