This place probably serves the best cup of cappuchino in Copenhagen. These guys take coffee very serius. Despite the long lines(at times) they don’t rush and compromise the quality. I don’t give this place 5 stars since it is now is very popular and the lines can get very long. I usually enjoy stopping by early in the morning on my way to work. Then the place is all quiet and peaceful.

This coffee is amazeballs. I’m not joking. Really really good. I love coffee. They love making good coffee. It’s a win win. Beautifully executed cappuccinos with the roastiest, toastiest espresso goodness and smoothest foam artfully presented. The drip coffee is scientifically rendered to perfection. The only reason that I don’t give a 5th star is that the hustle and bustle of Torvehallerne makes it difficult to always sit and enjoy your perfectly crafted coffee. I like a little cozy with my coffee and you don’t always get that here. But for a delicious coffee to begin your stroll through the market stalls — there is no better place to start than the Coffee Collective.

I really enjoy their coffee, and the staff are so friendly, so yes they recieve 5 stars. It’s completely worth it. The staff’s knowledge about coffee is also admireable and I challenge myself and try something new every time I visit. They have different kind of beans, and last time I tasted their ecological coffee from Ethiopia, it was delicious. I drink my coffee with a bit of milk, but this one was mild and really tasty and did not need any milk in it. The two ones I visited the most are the one at Jægersborggade and the one at Torvehallerne. Both places are nice, so go drink coffee :)

This place is located inside a larger building, near one of the entrances. I ordered a cortado. Baristas are darn well knowledgeable about coffee and made one of the best cortados that I’ve had. Practically no seating here. more of a get-in-get-out commuter place. If you’re looking for coffee on the run CHOOSETHISPLACE. The only drawback is how dang expensive it is compared to espresso drinks I’ve had from other parts of the world. If I remember correctly it was $ 5.50USD.

These guys are a well oiled machine! Located in the middle of torvehalle, this bar is a constant busy Hub of shoppers. But they have delegation down to a tee — one gentleman taking orders and advising choices(in Danish and in English), one guy on espresso, one on milk and one on hand brew. I only waited a few minutes for my order — woo! A friendly bunch, who make a cracking cup of coffee every time from their selection of directly traded coffees. They offer milk based espresso beverages and filter coffees on batch brew and hand filter methods. I knocked a star purely because of how busy it is — it can be a struggle to get a seat! Nevertheless, an essential stop when shopping here :)

They are always really nice and the service is always top notch. I mean: They care! My coffee was better that all the one i had in Coffee Shop in Copenhagen. It worth the wait(5 minutes — Wednesday morning in Torvehallerne). I recommend the Cappucino with 2 shots, because the coffee is the best thing they have. The milk is pretty good too of course. BUT, the temperature makes it all PER-FECT.

According to my SO, this is the best coffee he’s had during our trip around Europe. This is situated in a cute food stall area and the best thing: it’s open early! We stopped by twice during our stay here. We also bought a few bags of coffee for our selves and family/friends. Everyone agreed how wonderful the coffee was. His friend opened his up the minute he got home. Must’ve been the aroma beckoning him.

I loved this coffee house, serious coffee served sans pretense. I had 3 different kinds of coffee here(espresso, latte, hand brewed) but the hand brewed coffee is 2die4. First they heat the water up to a temperature ideal for the beans. Then barista hand pours in concentric circles, carefully onto V-filtered pot. Deliciousness ensues, subtle flavor, acidity absent, just pure delight. Sip without sugar or cream and Mmmmmmm, you are treated to one of the bestest coffees you’ve had in a while This location is in the Norreport St. stop on the metro. Was here a few times because it was in the UnMercato complex of well sought out food/wine/vegetarian concessions. You’re gonna love it here, especially in summer when everyone’s out, friendly and feelin’ a hygge Danish day. Visits: 4+ Tip: Come to the area for a meal because there is a farmers market, bakery, sandwiches, organic, vegan, wine, Paradis and all sorts of food vendors.

Disclaimer: tourist from Seattle So I went to The Coffee Collective twice in my four day stay. This one in Torvehallerne and another one in Norrebro. The coffee here is good! From one coffee snob to another, I got along well with the baristas(they weren’t actually snobby, they were very nice). The latte was delicious! Perfect because the weather was a little chilly. I loved this location because I loved all the food stalls! So grab a seat at the bar facing the outside and sip some fantastic coffee and people watch! If you are purchasing beans to bring back, they are pricey! But again, you’re in Copenhagen and it is not cheap here!

A very good latte, with hints of cocoa in the espresso. The beans are packaged in a resealable pouch that looks like it’s ready for a trip to the International Space Station, which is awesome. The blend I purchased — half Kenyan and half Columbian — is medium strength and perfect for mornings. Great as a pour-over drip. A little pricey at 99kr($ 14 – 15USD) but… it’s Copenhagen.

Great spot for a coffee break in Copenhagen. We stopped here a couple of times: one for a late caffeine boost and another one for breakfast and both times the coffee was delicious: full of flavour, rich and perfect foam and temperature. The service was also very good. The staff was very knowledgeable about what they were doing and the coffee they serve. The space is small, with only a few seats inside and some large communal tables outside, but I would recommend the place. Grab a take away cup. The coffee is worth it!

Very good coffee, nice space to enjoy a coffee. I stopped by for a breakfast iced latte, and it was very good and rich with flavor. The space is also clean and nice, and the service very friendly. Definitely recommend it.

Lovely coffee, enough said. When you have so many stalls to choose from at Torvehallen that serve coffee and cake, I usually go straight to this place. You can always rely on getting good coffee here. There are not many sitting places, after all this is Torvehallen where you’re not supposed to linger around but get your things and go, but I’d gladly drop by here to get my coffee to go on my way to somewhere else.

Great coffee shop in a great place(Torvehallerne). Top-level quality and coffee knowledge of the sort you find in the US and the best European spots(ie, The Barn in Berlin). Every coffee drink I had was delicious, and the croissants were from another planet. Right in the center of Copenhagen, so you shouldn’t need to go anywhere else.

Very good, high quality coffee and espresso in downtown Copenhagen. I had a friend who had worked at a different Coffee Collective location and recommended this one to me. Definitely did not disappoint and a must for coffee lovers!

My wife manages a coffee shop in San Diego, so when we travel we like to get a coffee every morning and see what gems we can find. This coffee house is in a large building that I believe is called Torvehallen. The structure looks to me like a big greenhouse, with a bunch of different shops inside — bakeries, coffeehouses, flower markets, etc. My wife usually gets an espresso macchiato, but since this place seemed to have well-selected coffee, she asked about the coffees they were brewing that morning. They had one batch brew and one pour over. Both of the staff behind the bar were very knowledgeable. She ordered a cup of coffee and I got a cappuccino. When my drink came out, the foam art was gorgeous. We drifted to the side of the register to take a look at some of the beans. My wife brought tons of coffees home from our trip to share with others and to do some coffee tastings. The other barista came over this time, and was extremely informative and helpful with her questions about the coffee. The service was quick, the space was clean, but the staff’s attentiveness and knowledge of their product was what really impressed me here. We will definitely stop back in the next time we’re in town.

Great coffee but very poor service. It was raining cats and dogs so my wife and I decided for two Americanos. Very few customers, propably because of the rain, but even so the service was slow because the girls behind the counter were pre-occupied talking with each other with very little focus on the customers

Yes yes yes. My AirBnb host recommended this place to me and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I’m always hesitant about ordering lattes in Europe because people tend to mix it up with cappucinos and get the ratios entirely wrong. But Coffee Collective has it down and it tastes amazing. Prefect milk to coffee ratio, your typical artistry on the top, it’s got everything that a hipster coffee shop in SF might have. It was hipster to the max – wooden walling, geometric shapes on the coffee cup, chill baristas and a delicious latte. I’m a huge fan.

The Coffee Collective is serious about their coffee. Their baristas are very well trained and they source high quality beans. They make hand pour single drip coffee and espresso drinks. Their cappucino is more like a caffe latte and I really liked it. It didn’t have the bitterness characteristic of most cappucinos. My husband tried the esmeraldo which smelled like a black tea with jasmine notes but definitely tasted like coffee. He really enjoyed it. A little bit more expensive than the side street cafes but the quality is worth it.

No decaf! Great coffee, though. The foam on the latte was rich — reminded me o the microfoam on a flat white. Right by the entrance of the market hall; the bustle in front of the counter looks daunting, but they keep up just fine. As long as you like your stimulants, this is a must-try.
