–Great location near the rail station. And you can walk down to the meat packing district for good food. –Delicious breakfast(included in the price) that’s very filling. –Cubby-style beds were comfortable and gave lots of privacy. The upper bunks can be a little challenging to get into, especially if the person below puts stuff at the foot of the bed. –Wifi isn’t very strong(I only got weak signal in the bedroom), but the advantage of this is that many people congregate in the café area. I had the best social experience here out of all the hostels I’ve stayed in and got to meet people from around the world. –Unless the sensor is triggered, the light in the shower room goes off after about 5 minutes. This isn’t a big deal when it’s still light outside because you’ll get light from the windows, but it’s kind of creepy at night. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Copenhagen.

I just stayed here last week. I accidentally booked at another place for the wrong days, and they were booked for the nights I needed. Such a happy mistake because I was able to come here instead! The hostel is small and cozy(my favorite kind since it’s easier to navigate and meet people!) They sell some snacks, coffee and beer at the front café, and offer a donation-based yoga class on most mornings. The staff are so warm and helpful. On my first night, Elena(super love) basically mapped me through all of Copenhagen after I told her I was here to eat good food and drink the good drank. Thanks much! It was the one hostel map I actually used during my 5-city tour. The rooms, showers and restrooms are clean and cozy. Free linen is provided along with breakfast and coffee/tea in the mornings. I also loved the location. I was considering going to another place in Norrebro after my original choice, but thankful that I came here instead. You’re about a 8 minute walk from Central Station, making it easy to go to the Louisiana, castles and Airport. You also get to walk through the world’s smallest red-light district and see Copenhagen’s dark drug-and-sex infested underbelly(lol, not really). You’re also within walking distance to Meatpacking which has a bunch of clubs, restaurants, bars and bodegas. I walked to Norrebro once or twice, but I walk everywhere over New York so it may not be something you want to do. Cristiana and Nyhavn are also not too far away, and actually it was great to see the city by wandering around the streets, getting lost and reorienting myself again. A great bar is right across the street, Mikkeller, so if you’re too lazy or tired to venture out you can always come here for a good time. Next time I visit Copenhagen I will definitely stay here. Quick hint: if you’re arriving at nighttime, the entrance to the hostel is actually at garden level. you may miss the sign. look for well-lit entrances that you need to step down into and knock. reception closes at 10, so if you go out and plan to be out after that, a $ 10 deposit will grant you access to a key. when you return the key, you’ll get your deposit back.

Lovely stay here in early June. I really appreciated the privacy of the bunks and outlets on each bed. The breakfast was AMAZING, seriously though. the bread with cheese and jam. mmm :) My only wish is that it was a bit larger. kind of a funny layout, but that’s no reason not to stay.

I had a wonderful stay here at the Woodah Hostel. They offer by-donation yoga classes at every morning at 8:00am, I did not partake(it’s too early for me), but from what I hear it’s a very good class. Breakfast is served from 8:00 — 10:00 and it includes coffee/tea, homemade muesli with yogurt and breakfast rolls with hummus, jam and cheese. I always felt full afterwards. There is wifi in the café part of the hostel, not in the dorms — which is the only thing I would have changed. They also do not have a public kitchen so, if you’re staying there for a longer time, buy non perishable foods you can store in your locker. Bathrooms and showers are clean. As well as the rooms. Linen and locks are free. They lock the doors at 10:00pm, but offer keys(for a deposit) to any night owl who think they might be out late. The beds are designed like«cupboards», which offers privacy and shelter from the light. Receptionists were very kind and helpful, they were more than happy to answer anyone’s questions.
