A little hard to find from the street, so look for the Republikken sign above some doors. The café is up the stairs, so don’t look for the café through the ground level window. They serve coffee(obviously) and a few food options. There are seating areas for members only, so non-member seating includes a few bench options. I wasn’t able to connect to wifi, but I didn’t try too hard, so this could easily be all user error. It was easy to get work done, so I would consider getting there again.

I used to think Republikken was the coolest place for getting some work done over a coffee, but the last times I’ve been there it hasn’t been close to deliver a decent experience. So I’ve gone from recommending it to everyone I know, to telling me friends to find another place instead. Republikken has unfortunately never had very service-minded staff, but over the last six months it has changed to even worse. The people working here seem to care about everything else than helping their customers and when they finally take their time to deliver you something, the quality is bad. Last time I was there I bought a sandwich and when it was delivered I almost thought they had made a mistake. A more boring sandwich is hard to find. Republikken used to be fun, creative and relaxed. Now it’s just bad service and bad products.

The Republikken is a very cool coworking space. It’s for members only, but there is a café at the first floor where you can work for free between 8am and 5pm. The music can be a little bit too loud, but they have a good taste oft music. The people are very friendly there, the WiFi is very good. It’s my favourite coworking space in Copenhagen.

cool and unexpected place. this first floor«café» is more or less impossible to see from the street — but worth looking. i think it doubles as an office/meeting-something for people without there own, but it works for people coming in from the street and with free internet a coffee-day-pass and electric outlets everywhere it really work if you need to do a bit of work for a few hours.

Fantastic place if you need to get some work done. Open Tap-COFFEE concept!!! They give you 2 hours for free if you just buy coffee. Will force you to focus and get some shit done. If you are looking for something more permanent or longterm, they also offer you a working pass. This gives you free and unlimeted coffee!!!

Cool place with a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a casual meeting, for working on your laptop, reading or just chilling out… The prices are fair, but not very low, from coffee & tea too snacks and sandwiches. A bit slow service when it’s crowded but they’re smiling and friendly!

This café won’t necessarily give you the«cozy café» feel as it is more like a coffee stop for those working in the building. But what’s remarkable about this place is the idea that it is a coworking space with multifunctional spaces that you can rent out, either for work functions or events etc. The coffee isn’t amazing, but the staff is very kind and the space offers many different corners for different uses. If you’re the type that enjoys reading a book by the window overlooking the street, there’s a corner for you. If you’re part of a group that’s having a casual roundtable meeting, there’s a corner for you. If you’re the type who likes high chairs at the bar, there’s a space for you. If you’re the type who’s geeking out on a project with 1 or 2 other colleagues, there’s a space for you. They have free wifi and is definitely a place you can sit in all day. Ask for coffee refills — they’re just 10 dkk!
