Probably the best tapas bar in Frankfurt!
When a friend of mine said to me: «Let’s go to Manolo!», who is in the «Lahnstrasse” — neighbourhood of Gallus,
I look at the simple homepage and thought: «are you kidding»?
Anyhow we went there and the impression of the interior: a little bit shabby.
The guest: mainly spanish /middle– and south americans.
We ordered tapas of fried octopus (chipirones), sardines (boquerones), calarmaries (calarmares a la romana) and grilled prawns (gambas a la plancha). The taste was very delicious — I had the feeling we were sitting at a nice restaurant somewhere at the Olympic Habour in Barcelona!!! I never made such an experience at a spanish restaurant in Frankfurt.
Fantastic value for money.
Even though the place looks a little shabby. It is definitely worth it!
