The Charles Spa

In looking for a day spa in Munich I came across this one and it looked nice on the internet so we thought we would try it and see. In terms of quality this place gets 5 stars and the service is also excellent :-)
They have a fairly well equipped gym and the equipment is of top quality. The running machine had built in TV and Internet and loads of different options. The weight machines were also quite versatile.
The change rooms and facilities are excellent with loads of lockers and they give you nice robes and towels to change in. If you are visiting the spa you can also get all sorts of toiletries from the front desk.
The pool is nice and looks beautiful. There is a sauna and a steam room as well. Again lots of lounge chairs and towels available.
The massage I had was excellent and I fell asleep straight away and woke up after quite a while :-) I always do that when the massage is great.
All in all a fabulous experience and I would happily come back here any day. I love spas and have been to many around the world and it is nice to know we have a wonderful place not far from home :-))

Sehr nobel eingerichtet mit 15-​Meter-​Pool, Sauna, Dampfbad, Fitnessbereich und Behandlungsräumen. Rote Korallen, Mosaik und goldene Buddha-​Statuen. Kräutertees werden bis zum Abwinken gereicht. Das Behandlungsspektrum lässt keine Wünsche offen — von der Surrender-​Massage bis zur Maniküre kann man hier alles bekommen. Auch ein Personal Training oder eine Yogastunde.
Hotelgästen steht der Bereich kostenlos zur Verfügung, externe Gäste können eine Tageskarte Classic für 60 € erwerben, die Obst, Handtücher und Leihbademantel inkludiert. Es lohnt sich aber, die Tageskarte Deluxe für 90 € zu nehmen, bei der man zusätzlich eine Massage oder eine Gesichtsbehandlung bekommt.
Der einzige Minuspunkt: der Spa liegt in einem Keller, so dass man keine Aussicht auf irgendetwas beim Ruhen hat.
