Very cosy quaint place. Food is not only delicious but presented with an artistic flare. Minimalist décor but clean. Service is prompt. Not an extensive menu selection. Meal and mixed drinks were superb.

This place is really amazing! It is very small and charming and everything is thought out from the plates and silverware to the food which is really great! We had the patatas bravas which were really good as well as the pork belly with a really delicious corn salad! Topped it all off with the MILK-FREE raspberry ice cream! Yum!!!

Small, charming café with a casual atmosphere. Met a friend at my hostel and we went off in search of dinner. Most places were fully booked, but we spotted a sign beckoning us down a little alley to a small courtyard and charming façade of Hello Darling. We both had the sumac-crusted salmon with tarragon spelt, which was a truly delicious pairing of flavors. I also tried the jasmine tea margarita — not very strong, but a lovely, light complement to the fish. It takes some effort to impress me with salmon because I am a lover of seafood and have tried almost everything the ocean has to offer — but I think Hello Darling accomplished it. Will definitely return the next time I visit Helsinki.

The place was nicely renovated and felt bigger than it used to be. Ramen salmon soup was tasty but I gotta admit that I was a bit dissapointed to the house salad. Somehow it reminded me about the ‘salads’ at school from the 90’s. My friend chose fish tacos as a starter and those seemed to be ok. The service was kind and the all day breakfast served during weekend is tempting. Gotta give another try one day.
