Marseille
Tout simplement le meilleur restaurant italien de France. Et les meilleurs pizzas. Je crois qu’il n’y a rien d’autre à dire. On atteints ici la qualité des pizzas de Naples et des spaghettis de Rome. Bön d’accord, les italiens sont inégalables. Mais au Vesuvio vous né serez jamais déçu. Ma recommandation, la pizza Parma. Enjoy :)

Expect a long wait for this popular spot, but it’s well worth it! The experience is great and should be part of your visit to Cannes. Our waiter was great — very friendly and funny, and quick!
We were a large party and ordered everything on the menu. Everyone was happy with their food. Mine tasted great. The prices were very reasonable given the location.
If you go to Cannes, eat here!

The food is good and service is OK,
The pizza is OK too and keeps open for take out after the main restaurant close at 2 AM
I always go them with friends and always enjoyed the food

Bön et copieux, service rapide et agréable. Cependant le restaurant manqué de charme et les prix sont un peu exagérés au vu de la simplicité des plats et ce même si nous sommes sur la Croisette.

It’s Cannes and where do we go to eat that isn’t going to break our bank any further than it was from time spent in Monaco. We find La Vesuvio and there is a line out the door of this place. What an amazing experience our waiter Alexander was honestly one of the best I have ever had, what a personality. Prices were super reasonable and everything was fantastic rustic Italian. They have a wood fired pizza oven and some really gourmet pizzas. I do wish they crisped up the pizzas just a little more but that would be the only complaint I had. The apple pie is not to be missed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal at a fair price. Everything we had was fantastic.

If you go to Cannes and don’t eat at Vesuvio you’re fuckin’ up! The prices are fair and the food is amazing. You may have to wait and once you get a table you probably won’t have much room but its totally worth it. My suggestions are do the Magherita pizza so the toppings don’t take away from the spectacular taste. Also the Gargonzola penne will curl your toes. Anyway you don’t have to take it from me, once you see it packed you’ll know its great.

Surprised it wasn’t packed as it’s right on the strip with great views if the water. The pizza and spaghetti and clams were both delicious. The service was fine. As with most of the French, I couldn’t tell if our waiter was deviously charming or a punk.

Great spot over on the Café side. Tasty people, beautiful food and cool Cannes vibe that pleased my senses. Prices aren’t outrageous for being right on the strip, and staff was friendly if not occasionally forgetful. Fresh seafood and half a lobster for the same price as a piece of salmon makes this a great find. Although the $ 20 martini delivered an instant hangover when I saw that on the bill.

This restaurant reminded me of some casual US Italian restaurants. Very busy, had to wait for a table, table crammed against one another, very loud. The food here was decent and reasonably priced. The wine just ok. The service was slow but thats because they’re so busy. The pizza was very good. Oh and unless you want to up your cancer risk, you probably shouldn’t take a table outside. We sat next to a chain smoker on one side and a cigar smoker on the other side. Not a MUST go but not bad if you want a reasonable Italian meal in Cannes.

On my annual trip to Cannes to see the family, Vesuvio is on the top of my list! I ate here twice in a week and it is my favorite restaurant in Cannes. Everything on the menu is above and beyond good but I recent discovered the Gorgonzola pizza! WOW I was amazed! The lasagna is also amazing including the veal. The highlight of my trip is to eat here with my grandmother and finish it off with a framboise melba!
There is always a mild wait because this is THE best place in town. I suggest getting here before the dining rushes of lunch or dinner. DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE! Rose wine and pizza in the summer is worth living for!

I have been going to Le Vesuvio for 40 years and NEVER had a bad experience. From Pizza to Pasta to Fresh fish it is one of the best restaurant in Cannes. How good is it? How about 1 hour wait pretty much everyday during summer!!! This is how good

We had dinner at Vesuvio after reading the great comments from our Unilocalers and felt like we needed to add some things. Everyone was spot on with the service — probably some of the best we had in Cannes — and we were dinning at 8pm which made it even more impressive. Our only disappointment came when our waiter was very insistent on a particular meal. As we looked around after being sat all the food looked great and the aroma of so many dishes was intoxicating. We had just decided on a potential meal (one our neighbor had just received) when the waiter came back for our order. He started right away with the sea bass meal for 2. He was very persuasive and before we knew it we had both ordered the meal. The food was good — just not worth what we ended up paying — and we both left the restaurant wondering how we started wanting Italian and ended up eating fish. Like I said it was good — not great but everything else was awesome.

There’s two sides to Vesuvio. The Café side and the Restuarant side. Both are great and reasonable priced for their location. The food is good, wine list is extensive and service is good for Cannes. My tip is you can get good wine by the glass on the Café side as you need to order a carafe on the Restuarant side for higher end grog.

Love this place! My favorite pizza place in Cannes, and my second overall favorite. They don’t take reservations, so either get there early or be prepared to wait a bit. Don’t worry, the wait isn’t too bad… just grab a glass of wine at the bar. Then make sure you order a pizza. Or try the sole — it’s AMAZING. Lasagna is pretty incredible too. Servers have all been fun and very tolerant of the foreigners in for the festival. We see the same faces every year and they’re all sweet. Get dessert — try the whipped cream and red berries.

The majority of everyone dining the night I came in had a signature piping hot pizza in front of them, which I was very tempted to order. I actually went with the salmon fettuccine and was pleasantly surprised. It was fresh, flavorful and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The order was so big– I only finished half of my dish. The carbs in france will get you one way or another! haha
This place was packed too– definitely a popular Italian restaurant in Cannes– and one I’d definitely return to.

J’y vais en général pour boire un thé ou un jus de fruits, les Alain Millat sont délicieux. On peux y manger aussi a toutes heure. j’adore les coins cosy où on se vautre dans des canapés. Le service est plutot efficace, et la note un peu salée (4,90 € un coca) mais sur la Croisette rien de surprenant.
Le point négatif: la musique un peu forte et pas au goût de tous…

C’est pas qu’elles sont mauvaises, mais il y a d’autres endroits à Cannes pour en manger des meilleures. Par contre, il faut louer le professinnalisme des serveurs, la rapidité des cuisines et de la caisse. Tout est excellent, copieux, original (quand on vient de temps en temps). La rançon du succès? Bruyant à l’intérieur, impossibilité de réserver, places en extérieur réduites. Mais c’est un bon plan quand même !

De l’ambiance
Même en hiver il y a du monde, ce qui est une référence. Prix chers mais on en a pour son argent. Sans parler des delicieuses pizza, l’entrecôte est superbe, goûteuse quant à la sole elle est enorme et cuite à point. Ballet des serveurs à la gouaille italienne amusant à regarder et à entendre. Clientèle de tous âges mais assez chic.

Meilleure pizza de Cannes
Très bon resto, avec une vraie pizza au feu de bois. Le reste est bien aussi: poissons, lasagnes, et une carte des vins qui propose un large choix. En plus, il est idéalement situé sur la croisette, et le prix de l’addition est tout à fait raisonnable.

Pizzeria à Cannes
La Pizzeria à Cannes, la seule qui propose toutes sortes de pizza au feu de bois, délicieuses et copieuses. Le reste de la carte est bien, surtout le grillo misto. Allez-​y les yeux fermés pour les pizzas, en ayant de la patience en été car l’endroit est toujours plein midi et soir et on né réserve pas ! Accueil agréable.

C’est une véritable cantine sur la Croisette, toujours bondée de retraités!.. Il n’est pas toujours facile d’avoir une table. Choix de viandes, Pizza et Pates. La décoration est la même depuis les années 70 et l’ambiance est bruyante.
A éviter pour un tête à tête en amoureux!..

La cuisine italienne variée, l’accueil très chaleureux, une salle bien décorée et spacieuse, un rapport qualité-​prix correct. Ce que je n’ai pas aimé: le service est parfois un peu long, mais ce petite désagrément est oublié dès le premier coup de fourchette ! En bref le restaurant propose de nombreuses spécialités italiennes. La cuisine est fine et très savoureuse, les présentations sont soignées et l’accueil est très agréable. Il y a toujours trop de monde et c’est dommage car on doit se presser pour manger, été comme hiver.

Cher mais bon
Des pizzas au feu de bois avec des produits frais. Un régal. Mais la taille est très moyenne et il faut compter 15 € la pizza. Je né parle même pas du reste de la carte. J’ai été déçue par les desserts. Le cadre est agréable, la clientèle internationale et le service sympa. Pour ma part: 2 pizzas, 2 desserts, 1 rosé (le moins cher de la carte) = 70 eur. Mais la pizza était très bonne.

De janvier a decembre le vesuvio est un des rares etablissements cannois a né jamais desemplir ! et pour cause on s y sent bien ! si vous etes un habitué du lieu vous serez certain d etre bien recu ! Par contre en plein été attendez vous a patienter quelques minutes avant d’avoir une table ! Sans etre de la grande gastronomie le vesuvio est une valeur sure ! vous né serez jamais decu ! Particulirement les amateurs de pates et viandes ! Par contre reservation impossible ! Mais l’attente eventuelle en vaut la chandelle !!
