2nd day at cassis where most of the restaurants only have a french menu. From outside this place has an instant old school charm. We wanted a delicious lunch but something local away from the Main Street. Our server was very helpful and spoke some English as we tried with as much french as we can speak. The wine we ordered was the Domaine Du Paternel, just so smooth and perfect with fish. He recommended the fish soup and tuna tartar. Fish soup has no seafood just a delicious fish stock with a hint of cream. Tuna tartar is fresh chopped tuna with lime juice and cilantro along with a lightly dressed arugula with peaches kiwi and balsamic glaze. Just outstanding. We shared linguine with vongole(clams) and once again it was perfect. The sauce wasn’t oily, clams was fresh, pasta tasted fresh and sauce had so much flavor from garlic parsley. Perfect atmosphere, great service, delicious food. You can’t ask for more. Price very reasonable
