After the Paris terror attacks, I decided to get a hotel close to the airport the night before my early flight back to Sweden. This hotel is super close to CDG and has free shuttle to and from the airport(terminal 2). I lucked out and checked on Hotel Tonight and got a killer rate for the one night. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was very pleasant and spoke great English. They were very helpful and informative and above all friendly. The room was amazing and quite large even for American standards. The shower pod was to die for offering a rainfall shower and two body jets. This is a green hotel with information on your water consumption found on the tablet that controls the room. The TV is actually a projector that projects onto the wall across from the bed. Wifi is free and a great speed. There is not much around the hotel itself so either eat first or be prepared to pay for the buffet. The price was 19,50 Eur which I felt a bit pricey because I don’t eat that much, but the food was good and had a decent amount of choices. There is also a breakfast buffet but I opted to get breakfast at the airport. For the price and proximity to the airport, you can’t miss with this hotel. The FREE shuttle service is awesome but can be a bit tricky to find from the airport. You need to go to the 5th floor and then on the left side of the platform. It’s marked but not really so can be a bit difficult to find if you don’t know what you are looking for.

Wow had a really nice buffet meal at this hotel — what a nice surprise! It started with several appetizers — cold meats, grilled eggplant, couscous, salad and smoked salmon. The main course was a delicious chicken tagine, followed by a delightful cheese selection and finished with fantastic mango panna cotta. What a surprise for an airport hotel!

A great trendy modern hotel! I had a single room, which wasn’t huge but was definitely ample. The shower was AMAAAAZING!!! My only critical comment would be they need to figure out how to get the beds from sliding so easily. Nothing dangerous, but it was a little annoying. No biggie though!

Hubby and I stayed in this hotel during a recent trip to France. It’s an affordable, adorable boutique style hotel, which reminds me of the old cartoon, the Jestons, with the futuristic features, amenities, and Go-Green concept. Our flight arrived in France in the early am, and upon arriving to the hotel, even though we had no reservations, we were told by the front desk attendant that we could immediately check in. We requested to view the room before checking in, and the attendant accommodated us with a very pleasant, friendly personality. Although the room was very small(tying into the Green theme), it was also very ultramodern bright, and clean. The attendant then explained the features and amenities, which are all controlled by a laptop sized touch screen device in the room. The laptop device controls various features in the room, including: * The raising and lowering of the room blinds * All room lights, including the option to change room lights in the walk in shower from neon pink to blue to green, to white * Room temperature * Projection television,(the touchscreen device also has various music channels to listen to, and full internet access) * There are probably some other features which I have probably forgotten about The laptop device also displays your daily water usage, which is monitored by the hotel in an attempt to follow a Green theme. The lap top displays random amounts of 50%, 100% etc. water usage for the day, or whatever percentage that the hotel system calculates has been used by the guest. Our percentage was at 100% at one point, but the value fluctuated. We never completely understood this feature, as we did not consider the percentage in relation to how often we would be showering, but we had no additional fees for water usage at checkout. While showing us how to use the laptop touchscreen device to access room features, the attendant told us, «your tv is here on this wall.» When hubby and I looked around in confusion,(as there was literally no tv) she goodheartedly laughed and asked, «you are looking for the tv, yes?» She then pointed to a device which was immediately above the head of the bed, close to the ceiling. The device was actually a projection screen! So the tv is not an actual tv, but an image projected onto the wall, which displays various television stations. The laptop device also allows you to manage features such as radio, checkout/check in features, and internet capability. While we were in the room for viewing, I asked the attendant if I could have 3 extra pillows, as there were only two quite small pillows on the bed. She good-heartedly giggled, stating«I don’t know if that’s going to happen» but when we went back downstairs and completed our check in, she immediately requested the first housekeeping person who appeared to send 3 extra pillows to «Madam’s room.» The pillows were promptly delivered to the room. Although we requested a King sized bed, what we were given was a full sized bed and a single bed, pushed together, to create the illusion of a King size bed. The beds kept sliding apart(it appears that they were on wheels) during the middle of the night, but it was more charming than annoying. The hotel does serve a breakfast buffet option daily(sandwiches, processed eggs, oatmeal, various sliced meats breads, and cheeses, etc.) as well as a light dinner options with more of the same. We did not eat any of it. The hotel décor is modern and futuristic throughout the hotel. We had a great experience, enjoyed the staff, who was quite friendly and accommodating, enjoyed the modern,(albeit small) room, and the overall feel of the place. Also, the hotel is near the airport, and provided a shuttle service to the airport quite frequently, which is very convenient on the day that you are returning home, as you don’t have to deal with a lot of logistics such as getting from your hotel to the airport. I would book this hotel again.
