Auberge de la Pomme d’Or

If you are looking for a reasonable place to go around the many airport hotels, you can go to that place and enjoy the French atmosphere and the food! There were a few things which were annoying like the old baguette served and the mayonnaise on my smoked salmon. But putting the mayonnaise aside, the salmon was very good and my filet for main course was perfectly medium. I did enjoy it very much! For desert I had citron sorbet! Also good! The 7 colleagues I was with also were very satisfied with their food! They are recommending the duck in honey sauce!
All in all — a few things to improve but probably the best choice in the area! I would go there again!

Ever been fed by a grumpy aunt, a pissed off wife or something like that or someone who wishes you never showed up? No! Then come here. They do an awesome job at it. Sad really but I got a taste of it and no I ain’t coming back ever again. The ladies who run this place need to shut it down and do something else altogether.

I give this 4 stars because of you are in this area, if is likely you are at one of the nearby hotels and this is the only traditional French homemade cuisine you will find. The owner does not speak fluent English but she will get someone in the kitchen who can speak enough about food.
Don’t get complicated with your order. Order off menu and keep it simple.
They will get annoyed if you begin asking too many questions. They are a home style small restaurant with only 2 servers for the entire restaurant running the front and 2 cooks in the back.
Their menu is priced to give competition to the meals offered at the hotel.
Wine does not come with the meal here, but worth paying the extra cost with the reasonableness of the meal at 15E for 3 courses. You won’t leave hungry! A bread basket is included but not butter.

I spent a delicious evening in this old family style restaurant, close to CDG airport. The menu is simple but really good and the family who is running the restaurant is surprising and very nice. The menu is only 15 € and everything is home made, I especially recommend their home made Americano for the «apéritif».

Faut pas être pressé, l’entrecôte n’était pas tendre et il y a eu erreur de cuisson.
